hello I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. The anonymity of tumblr means that I associate my idea/image of you with your icon and sometimes I look at people’s icons and I’m like ‘hmmm….what is that and why?’

This post is a hard one to make. I may be crying a little (I'm definitely crying a little)

As some of you have noticed already, sizzlingsheepcheesecake has disappeared from Ao3. I will be deleting my Tumblr as well in the next day or two, but I wanted to give people a chance to see this post first, and I wanted to say goodbye and thank you.

I want to assure everyone that there truly is no bad, dramatic reason for this, either personal or fandom related. My time in this fandom has been nothing but positive. I know this seems sudden, but it's been on my mind for a while now. I always felt that my time as sizzling would be more of a brief chapter in my story and not the whole book, and I feel that it is time for me to say goodbye.

I also know that disappearing entirely and deleting my fics is an extreme step to take. I know this might be disappointing for people and I really am sorry. But it's what feels right and most comfortable for me, and I hope you'll understand. I would like as little of sizzling and her work as possible to linger after I have said goodbye, which is why I have deleted my works entirely. I completely understand that people would like to still be able to read my fics in some way and I'm really sorry that that's not an option I feel comfortable with.

I have absolutely loved writing for you all, reading your wonderful fics and enjoying your beautiful art, as well as getting to interact with you and your content on Tumblr. Thank you all so much for all of your support of my silly little fics. I really, really appreciate it, and it has been a joy and privilege to share with you. Thank you for all of the lovely stories and art and other content you create. Thank you to those of you who shared your time with me in private messages.

I'm going to miss you all so much, and I'm going to miss sizzling. Please feel free to say goodbye in my ask box or DM's before I delete my account ❤️
