look at this - i finally spent enough time googling blender tips to figure this one out

if you want to align an edge loop to be parallel to the neighboring edge loop but without changing the overall shape of the mesh, you need to select the edge loop and then:

(1) double press G (so "G G") to activate edge slide;

(2) then E ;

(3) and then finally F to switch between matching the neighboring edge loops

so "G G -> E -> F"

this makes it way easier to align all edge loops to be, for example, parallel to the x axis without changing the overall shape of a mesh

if anyone knows of an even better trick for something that would align all selected edge loops in this way without changing the shape of the mesh pls let me know!

Confident Martians are known for their low body temperature and long tails, with tips that seem to be more of an iron-like material, rather then organic. Accustomed to the cold, dark climates of Mars, they are often sighted in the skies over Sulani and Selvadorada, although the humidity and water seem to cause a rust-like reaction on the surface of their scales, leading them to shed, like lizards. Ambitious, Adventurous, and Self-Assured, they can sometimes come across as Mean and Overachievers. Blunt and straightforward, they aren’t well-versed in romantic relationships, finding it hard to grasp the nuances, though they love both giving and receiving gifts. Spicy dishes and crocheted clothing are sure to catch their attention and will be precious during those frosty cold nights on Mars!
