#kaevember Day 3: Pirate

"I think I'd make a great captain of a ship," kaeya spoke as he watched the red-haired bartender mix a drink. "A ship that's bound to sink, im sure," diluc replied as he let out a scoff at kaeya's words. Amused by his reply, kaeya asks playfully, "Oh, you wound me diluc, i am the cavalry captain of the knights of favonius. Do you really think me that incompetent?"."I could list out quite a couple of things if you really wanted to know, be it your own actions or that of the knights." Kaeya smiled cheekily at his brother."Ah yes, a humorless reply to a harmless question, just as i expect of you, " diluc rolls his eyes as he continues to work behind the counter.

"I suppose a life where not having to choose sides might make things easier on you," diluc said as he passed a drink to his brother. Kaeya's eyes widened at his reply and immediately softened as he looked down at his glass. "It is your life, after all. You aren't duty bound to anything or anyone." Kaeya wasnt sure if he liked that answer, he forced expectations on to himself that no one asked to bear, but to hear those words shot at him by none other than diluc felt, odd, to say the least. Was this dilucs way of saying he wasn't needed? Kaeya got lost in thought as his grip tightened around the glass. Noticing kaeyas' discomfort, he sighed. "But that's not to say mondstat doesn't appreciate your efforts."

Kaeya shot his head up to look at diluc, a faint smile appearing on his lips. "Are you trying to say that the dark knight hero approves of me?" Kaeya teased slightly. Diluc turned away from him. "That's not what i said, " "pretty sure that's what i heard," kaeya replied in jest.

Ace: "Plus you think I have the patience to boil water?"

Epel: "You don't have the patience to microwave water for 3 minutes??"

Deuce: "Why are you putting it in the microwave to boil it?"

Epel: "Do you think I have the patience to boil water on the stove?"

Deuce: "It takes less than a minute."

Epel: "Is your stovetop powered by the fucking sun???"

Deuce: "How long does it take you to boil a cup of water on the stove?"

Epel: "Like seven minutes??"

Deuce: "Just stick the mug on top of the stove on medium heat and it boils in like 2 minutes... less than that if you use a saucepan!"

Ace: "Why are you putting the whole mug on the stove?? On medium heat?? Deuce? Your stove is enchanted!"

Jack: "Every single person here is a fucking lunatic..."

MC: "Do none of you own a fucking kettle?!"
