The Guaxa, also called the Guajona, has often been seen wandering the forests of northern Spain, where she has made her home. She appears mostly human but can be distinguished by her bird feet and single long tooth with which she punctures the veins of her victims so as to feast on their blood.

After taking the land from the giants, Corineus, a companion of Brutus the Trojan, threw the giant warrior Goemagog, a descendant of Albina & Albion, from a high cliff after a lengthy wrestling match. Goemagog, also called Gogmagog, died shortly thereafter. Corineus is said to have given his name to the land of Cornwall.

Following the direction of the Eagle-headed monsters, the warrior Thorkil and his crew traveled deep into a cave, wherein they discovered the giant Utgarða-Loki chained to the wall. Thorkil took one of the giants beard-hairs as proof of his labours.

Sent into exile after the murder of his father, Hading lived with the giants Wagnofthus and his daughter Harðgreipr. The giant maiden fell madly in love with Hading and sought in vain to dissuade him from the path of vengeance.
