One thing that has always rubbed me the wrong way in this fandom is how people like to bring up how Rika stopped going to therapy. “V tried to help her, but she refused, therefore fuck her!!!”

From my experience, seeking and getting help is a difficult and scary thing to do. It was much easier to believe I was a mess that couldn’t be saved, and just get stuck in that rut where I felt like a complete burden. I guess it was easier to blame the world and accept I’m a failure. Granted, you still shouldn’t kidnap people into a cult because of that....

Honestly, I really hate how this website encouraged (or used to, idk how it is now since I’m hardly on here now) that sort of behavior. I remember seeing posts like “Remember to take drink water. Try to spend some time outside” and it would get aggressive replies like “FUCK YOU KAREN NOT EVERYONE IS NEUROTYPICAL”

Yeah, I know she was the only who could help herself, but it sort of hurts seeing people wish for so much violence on her. This event is for Rika fans; the winners get Rika merch. Cheritz specifically said violent entries will not be considered. Yet there’s so many people saying things like “choke” “burn in hell” etc. I know it’s too much to ask, but please just let her fans have fun. This contest is not for you.
