Went snowboarding, went snowshoeing, gave up drinking for a while, saw my fave artist live, dyed my hair permanently, had a sugar daddy, broke up with someone, went bungee jumping, did shrooms, did coke, picked my own pumpkin, drove in the states, been in a situationship

I didn’t make any resolutions and I only hit about half my goals lol but its was a funnnn year

Moved to Canada, got promoted to manager, the Otley run lol, experienced -12C, played five a side football, flew home for the holidays, drank a pickleback

I didn’t make any resolutions but I hit most of my goals for the year which isn’t too bad

1:What did you do in 2018 that you’d never done before?
Cartwheeled in my underwear, got promoted, had a three year anniversary, went on a non-travelling holiday with Jess, went to Ibiza, travelled for four months, went to Asia, ate an insect, went to a full moon party, drove a motorbike, made incense, cheated, played with an elephant, lived without electricity and decent plumbing, got mugged, swam with manta rays, got my nose pierced, got a graduate job, made a scrapbook.
2:Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Kinda, I’ve lost weight, ran and done yoga a lot more, and meditated nearly every day. I’m hoping to run further, eat more plant based, visit a new country, continue scrapbooking and get involved in charity work again.
3:Did anyone close to you give birth? nope
4:Did anyone close to you die? yes, my wonderful grandma
5:What countries did you visit? Cyprus, Spain, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Germany.
6:What would you like to have in 2019 that you lacked in 2018? a grad job, my own place and more control (two of these things are a lot more likely than the other)

6th March - beautiful sunset after a day of beaching and markets in Cyprus, St Paddy’s - spontaneous wild night ending in a huge snowstorm, 7th April - spending my birthday weekend in Ibiza with my mum and sister, 31st May - full moon party in Thailand, 21st June - sunrise in the dessert and sand-boarding with Cal, 28th June - meeting and playing with the rescue elephants, 31st July staying in pure natural paradise at the Perhentian Islands, 28th August - swimming with manta rays in Bali, 8th September - surprising my friends with my return home, 11th October - my grandma’s funeral, 24th November - a wonderful weekend in Oxford with two of my best friends, 12th December - finding out I got on a graduate scheme (!!), 22nd September - eating McDonalds under the stars with a view of Manchester at 3 am.

Getting on to a top auditing graduate scheme after a year of applying for over 80 of them!
9:What was your biggest failure? all the jobs I got rejected for before December.
10:Did you suffer illness or injury? have had migraines for about 5 months and got stung by a jellyfish

Had a nye kiss, went to Dublin, went to an engagement party, held an owl, trained to run a race, went to an ice hockey match, had a date to a ball, went to the Harry Potter studios, got a first class degree, graduated from uni, moved back home, went to Barcelona, went to India, visited one of the seven manmade wonders of the world, worked full time, went on the pill, attended an assessment day, went to a Runescape event, drove in the snow, kept a diary for a full year!
2:Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Kinda, I’ve eaten a lot more healthily this year but my eating habits were bordering on disordered for a few months there - I have done a lot more exercise though! and i manged to keep my diary all year. I want to improve my diet still next year though and take better care of my mental health.

4:Did anyone close to you die? thankfully not
5:What countries did you visit? Ireland, Spain and India

4th April - being spoilt rotten by my boyfriend for my birthday and having Maggie come all the way from the states to visit us! 6th June - my last ever uni exam! 12th July - my graduation, 9th August - visiting the Taj Mahal, 30th October - my first day at work.

Swam with a shark, said I love you in a relationship, swam in a waterfall, quadbiked, became a fourth year, had a valentine, went to a casino, lived with my boyfriend, been surprised at the airport, went to watch a rugby match, camped in a tent on top of a car, watched the moon rise, celebrated an independence day

I like how men tell us that periods are somehow simultaneously “not that bad” and also bad enough that we shouldn’t be allowed to hold positions of power.

Lived abroad, went to Australia, New Zealand and Bali, skydived, entered a serious relationship, spent christmas without my family, got drunk in the sea, went on a beach at night (many times), went sandboarding and surfing and jetboating, met a monkey, made best friends from other countries, went on a proper roadtrip, jumped off a (small) cliff, held a koala, drank goon, got homesick,
2:Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I didn’t make any last year and I’m not really making any this year, I’m trying (and so far succeeding!) to be healthier though

12th Feb - the day I met Jess, 4th April - celebrated my bday, 19th June - last night in Notts at Ocean, 8th July - left for Brisbane, 23rd August - went skydiving with Maggie, 2nd October - day snorkelling and chillin on the beach at Whitsundays, 5th December - amazing day in Seminyak, 10th December - americans left to go back home :(
