As you’ve all probably noticed, my interest in running this blog has simmered down GREATLY over the past year.

I still adore lackadaisy, but this blog has began to feel more like a chore than anything else.And now it’s mostly just where I store my lackadiays reblogs.

I am EXTREMELY grateful for all of the support this community has given me. And maybe one day I’ll open Lackaroses back up again. But for now, I think I’m done with this project.

♧Noodle post of the day; I FINALLY finished my (human) Lakadaisy Rocky fanart (started at the start of the month). It was inspired by the GORGEOUS opening scene from the animated pilot!!

♧I love this webcomic and the animation and the crew and just this whole universe so so dearly guys :")♡ @lackadaisycats 🫂.

♧This fanart was a BIG challenge for me! And I loved taking my sweet time learning to improve on backgrounds, lightning and colouring, and just step out of my comfort zone and experiment, until it felt like "me"!

This is definitely my biggest fan artwork to date.

I FINALLY HAVE THEM BOTH!!!!!

I got Mordecai like a month or so ago and I’ve been WAITING for Rocky to show up and I can’t be happier

They’re both soooooo cute I love them sm

I 100% recommend them to anyone who’s thinking of buying merch. They’re extremely huggable and less expensive than the other lackadaisy plushies

Also I’ve noticed that Rocky is a lot more squishy than mordecai is! Maybe it’s just because I’ve had Mordecai longer and I somehow made him sturdy while hugging him but I like to think they purposely mad Mordecai harder to hug because it just feels perfect lol

Also just as extra, when Mordecai first showed up I showed him to my mom and her exact words were

“Aww look at his little suit and tie. He looks like trump :)”

Am I the only one who has this thing where whenever there’s a new “internet hated person” (which happens almost every other week atp) no matter how much everyone hates and makes fun of them I just.. feel empathetic towards them?

This has happened with, Jojo siwa, the pumpkin gentlemen, mama owl, and Vivziepop.

Ik these people have done genuine bad stuff but I just can’t help but feel bad for them. Which makes me feel sorta left out seeing everyone else make the “Ya’ll when on my dad fit”, “it’s time to pay ur penance” and “__ if it were written by Vivziepop” jokes

A Lackadaisy fan game

A Lackadaisy fan game is already in development! So far I've done one of several standby animations with Mordecai Haller, then I'll start on other movement and location animations.
