me, catching myself wondering how i would look to an unseen voyer and then modifying my facial expression and body position accordingly to make myself more visually appealing despite being completely alone in my room and its 2 am:

maybe you didn’t have a very productive day today. maybe you didn’t change out of your pajamas. maybe you didn’t even get out of your bed. even if the most exercise you did all day was plugging your phone in, your day was not a waste. and more importantly than that, you are not a waste.

you’re not a waste of space, of breath, of life, or of time.

you are a human, a being, an entity worthy of love, compassion, and life.

you are a lot of things, but you are certainly not a waste.

i honestly believe human beings are not meant to live like this. we are meant to live in loving communities and be around nature every day and grow our own food and create art and not work day and night until we die. this longing for another life is not human nature, it’s a symptom of modern society.
