Was there a specific thought process behind the choosing of specific colors for each of the Underside approaches? A reason why "loud" as a concept is associated with forest green?

i think 'loud' in particular is an artifact of an earlier version--it used to be a vivid neon green, but ultimately legibility triumphed over feel on that one and we toned it down while keeping the green

quite a few of the approaches are straight up given that color becaues of disco elysium.. that's why quick is yellow and devious is tealish blue, at least. then a few are kind of obvious, like, cultural associations i and/or citizen have... aggressive is red, patient is blue...

oh, and sneaky being a light purple is a soft reference to lisa tattletale wilbourn. who is very sneaky and ourple

I'm glad the video featured some of our hometown villains. Finally, Brockton Bay is on the news for a good reason!

the behemoth video must have been so crazy tbh. watching all those people die and following a teenage girl as her friend dies and she helps kill one of her allies and she leaves people to die and tries to save people bleeding out and realizing that your perception of reality has been so flawed because even if you knew that heroes were people and fucked up logically it's another thing to see them scream and argue and suffer and die. like the hero video would have been. the endbringers are a distant tragedy you always pray wont show up where you live but the tragedy has been brought to your home and streamed on your screen. however old you are, millions of lives around the world depend on teenagers like skitter-turned-weaver who swear and scream and barely scrape by with their lives. i dont know where im going with this i just think it must have been both surreal and all too grounding at the same time

This is mostly a very half hearted attempt to trick people into drawing art of these aus.

So I was on the bike earlier today, and some guy was on the leaderboards named Jack Slash, and I'm not joking when I say this: I stared at it for a good, like, three minutes straight. Like I was just stunlocked in my room giving it the fucking Kubrick stare, man. "It's not really him"? Yeah, no shit, brother, you think a guy that busy has time to hit the bike every morning at two hundred watts? First of all, he doesn't need the exercise. Dude is always going outside and touching grass, and maybe doing some other stuff I don't really wanna touch on right now.

And secondly? I don't know, man, he's got fucking Bonesaw cyber legs or something, he'd probably be doing ten times that wattage just based on the raw kinematics. Which would be cheating, by the way. Okay, speaking of cheating, you know who is one hundred percent actually on the leaderboards? Defiant.

It's pretty simple. Pollution and Nazis kill people, but Leviathan also kills people. If Leviathan prevented more deaths than he caused, that would be good.

But it doesn't, and the only reason anyone thinks otherwise is because they're a safe distance from any Endbringer target to date. Far enough that the damage fades from view once the news stops reporting on it.

Now, I'm not convinced that any Endbringer is coming out with a negative murder score even if you only count the people they murder directly. But if you live near one of their targets, you know the real death toll is so much higher than that.
