An idea an only becomes a reality once it is broken down into organized, actionable elements. Risk will always be there every time you wanted to try something new. It is part of venturing a business, before you can reach the top of your success you will encounter things that might let you think if you still want to proceed with your business. But then if you will not try to take the risk you will never succeed in your chosen career. One example of a start up successor is Mr. Kit Laurence Nacua, he had taken the risk and now his business is flourishing all throughout Cagayan de Oro City. He was once a dreamer who had an idea of making the life of people easier in line with buying their groceries just like what other places have. He had taken the risk, invested time and effort. Now his business taking its way up. As what other business owners had experienced, he also experienced starting from the bottom where he, himself was the one who goes to the grocery store to buy the orders and delivers it to the customer. Where he gained insights that helped him to make his business better than what he started. He is a great example for us students who aspires to be a successful Entrepreneur someday. This will serve as a guide for us to start venturing on things that we love and create our own business. In every start-up, there is always someone who has its back in entering the business world, and one of this is the CDO bites where they help and guide young entrepreneur who have their ideas and plans of starting up their business. Wherein they conduct trainings, seminars and helping out those young entrepreneurs who are afraid to venture out and starting up their own business. It is also nice to have someone who supports your dream and CDO BITES is one of them.

To quest for a repeatable and scalable business model, a start-up is started by various founders or entrepreneurs. More specifically, a start-up is a new enterprise activity that seeks to build a successful business model to address a need or challenge in the marketplace. Founders build startups to develop and test scalable business model efficiently. The perceptions of start-ups and entrepreneurship are therefore identical. Entrepreneurship, however, refers to all new enterprises, including self-employment and businesses that never plan to grow big or become licensed, whereas startups apply to new businesses that are planning to grow, have employees and are planning to grow big beyond. Start-ups face great uncertainty and have high rates of failure, but the minority who continue to be profitable businesses must have the ability to become large and powerful. Perfect examples of startups are Grab and SpaceX
But not all startups are lucky, some of them fail due they cannot produced the product or service that the consumers need. It needs a huge amount of capital in order to buy equipment, create new products and promoting or selling their service. Startups pose for uncertain risk. A startup stop becoming a startup when the founders have stopped operating, when the product idea has been sol, and when the company has offered a portion of itself to the public. So as long a company is seeking for a business model it is still a startup.
A start up ecosystem is created by individuals, startup throughout various stages and different types of businesses (physical or virtual) in a place, collaborating as a system to build and scale up new start-up companies. It is made up of Startup Founders, Accelerators, Universities/Schools, Angels/Investors, Startup Evangelists, Enthusiasts, Entrepreneurs, Small Business, and Incubators. To be part of a startup ecosystem joining events, joining communities, becoming a start up founder, working with startups, become a startup developer, creating technologies/innovation are some ways in order for you to be one or part of the startup ecosystem.

An unavoidable part of life is change. It will happen whether we are ready or not. Everything may change and but some of these changes can either give benefit to someone or it can caused harm to everyone. As our product develops, changes will occur during this stage that will enhance the uniqueness and features of the product.
During our fourth week, our group consulted our instructor about the product/application we are developing. She was concerned about how we can earn profit from our app, what benefit will the one who shared the battery percentage get from sharing. Regarding on how we can earn more profit with the app, our first decision was to make the application a onetime subscription to make it more consumable and affordable for our customer. Paid advertisements will also be one of our sources of profit. But then we didn’t anticipate that enhancing and maintaining the application after launching it would cause us more than what we are earning from it and if advertisements not work we will not have profit and it will cause loses on our part. While creating the feature of the app , we didn’t think of what will the sharer get when they share battery percentage to someone.
Our team talk about this and we have decided that in terms with how we will gain profit, instead of a onetime subscription, we changed it to quarterly subscription which will give our consumer the choice to whether they would still subscribe to our pasabatt application and upon subscribing to our app the consumer will have the access of up to 15% of battery sharing since its just for emergency purposes only. We also added that the consumer can expand the percentage that they currently have while subscribing, like they can level up the percentage from 15% up to 70% but with additional payment. And regarding with the sharer’s side , we have decide to add another feature to our app which is the Point System for the benefit of the sharer, everytime that they shares battery percentage they will get an equivalent points for that. They can use these points in subscribing or expanding their battery percentage. We have already asked or consulted an IT Specialist in line with this matter.
For me, the lesson that our group achieve this time is that , as developers , we should be open minded in every new opinion we will receive. For this opinion and changes would make our application better and it will serve our consumer in the most convenient way.

Nowadays we are in a state of pandemic and everything is conducted through online, home based jobs, online businesses, and online classes. This has given us idea to come up with an app that would allow students or even associate people to share their battery percentage. For the third week, our team agreed to conduct a survey to test whether our app will have its potential buyers after we develop the application. This will also serve as a guide for us to know what to enhance in our app and to know the opinion of our consumer about the application.
The survey contains, first, is we introduced ourselves and the purpose of the survey. Second is we introduced the application, we explained how the application works, how it will help them and how they will benefit from the app. The survey questions were just simple; we ask them if they have their own mobile phones, do they have online jobs, online business or online classes. Then if they will trust an app to gain or pass some battery percentage during emergencies , how often do they use their phones in daily basis, how often it runs out of battery and lastly if they want to use the Pasabatt app to help them in times of urgent situation or power outage. We selected 64 respondents for our survey to make it more accurate.
Upon gathering the data, Out of our 64 respondents, only 57 respondents stated their answer for numbers 3 and 6. 38 respondents answered YES and will trust the app to gain or pass some battery percentage during emergencies and 19 answered NO. For number 6 question which is if they want to use the Pasabatt app to help them in times of emergency or power outage, Out of 57 answers, 51 of these answered yes and 6 of them answered NO. These answers have clearly given as an idea that our app will have its place in the market and people will actually subscribe on it.
As a group, we have learned to compromise in order to perform our individual duties in the group despite the fact that we have our own duties in our individual homes. We may have differences in terms of suggestions, ideas and attitudes we still have completed the task given to us.

We are currently in a state of pandemic and all is done online a lot of us rely on our mobile phones. As we go along on creating our app. We still have a lot of things to do to make this application possible. We must consider all the things, including the opinions of other people especially those who have knowledge in these areas. We must also consider the span of needs of our future consumers in creating the app. In that way we can assure the consumer that our app is accurate and can be trusted to deliver its service.
On our second week, as a group we considered consulting an IT specialist regarding the status of our application, and to know the advantages and disadvantages of the app. considering that the brother of our co member is an IT, we might as well consulted him. According to him, there are some existing applications in the app store that have the same function just like our Pasabatt. He also mentioned that some phones have its own built in application that allows them to share battery percentage with other mobile phone users, and some phones are not capable of installing the application and some application doesn’t work on some phones especially those lower class kinds of phones.
Upon knowing the disadvantages of the app and instead of taking it as a down side, we have taken it as an opportunity for us to enhance the features of the app and make it unique among the other existing applications. We have set a goal to serve or to accommodate the older phone models that were left behind by the thought that some other new brands had a built in application that can share battery percentage. That despite the fact that our consumer have an older phone model , he/she can still enjoy the sharing or receiving battery percentage during emergencies or power interruption by availing our application.
As a group we have learned to maximize and to be open for criticism, because not all the time we are right or our ideas are perfect. We still have a lot to do and learn but with the help of each other we can surpass this challenge. Everyday is a new day , we may fail but we still have a lot of chances to make things right and to improve our work and most especially ourselves

Identifying problems and creating solution are just some of the things we did during the whole week. During this time of pandemic people are advised to work and study at home which create a higher demand of using gadgets and electricity. Thats why electricy plays a big role in everyones work. The longer the power interruption, the more the workloads of the students could not be finish on time. In regards with this , we have interviewed at least 8 people online. Their response includes their problem with the black out , internet connection. But our team choose to focus on the issue regarding with the power interruption problem since we cannot address on the problem with the internet connection.
We have planned some solutions that would satisfy the need of our interviewee. Our proposed solutions were , we will create a solar powered light , a solar power fan , study torch-battery powered and an application that can transfer battery percentage to one phone to another. But since some of this inventions are already available in the market, we have come up to a decision to develop an application that can transfer battery percentage from one phone to another , and it will be named as "PasaBatt"where PASA means to transfer and Batt is the shortcut for battery. This application will help people especially students who experience frequent black out in some areas because of its feature that can truly help students and teachers in times of emergency. It can be use through Bluetooth sharing , Hotspot and OTG connector. When using the OTG connector , the "Pasabatt" will serve as a security access to transfer battery percentage to another phone. And it doesn't need internet connection to access it , except when you are installing it for the first time. This might sound impossible but with thorough research , this might be developed.
After all the things we have done, I learned that despite of our differences , we are binded together with the same goal and that is to create a solution for the problem we have gathered. Cooperation is also a key to finish this research part of our requirement , as the quote says No man is an island there is no one who can handle a difficult task without the help and cooperation of his/her team mates. This task was really challenging but we survived with the help of each other. There is still a long way for us to conquer but I know we can handle it as a team.

The benefits of good governance under the Aquino administration are being translated into improving the quality of life of all Filipinos, especially the poor and vulnerable. Among the steps taken to protect the welfare of our fellow Filipinos is health care. In connection with the health care services , President Aquino signed RA 10606 which requires the provision of universal health care services to all Filipinos. Free health care insurance that prioritizes the health care needs of the poor , disabled , elderly , people with disablities , women and children.
He also signed an act which will enhance the basic education. This would provide ample time to master concepts and skills, thus cultivating lifelong learners.Aquino administration claims that people are motivated by investing in Filipinos through health , social services and education. The Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program is at the center of these initiatives; The National Household Targeting Scheme for the Elimination of Poverty (NHTS-PR), which offers financial assistance to poor households.
In order to improve efficiency and minimize opportunities for corruption, the government has reformed its procurement and budgeting procedures, avoiding the wasting of billions of pesos of taxpayer's money. The Philippines posted one of its strongest growth years in 2012, exceeding all expectations; the GDP of the first quarter of 2013, registered at 7.8%, lifted the bar among the community of nations further and exceeded even our growth rate.
During president Aquino's term , over 153.1 Billion pesos has been released to over 174 , 000 enterprises from 2010 to 2014, through the Access of Small Enterprises to Sound Lending Opportunities. In microfinance the introduction of the Magna Carta for MSMEs has also played a significant role. By requiring banks to devote ten per cent of their total credit portfolio to MSMEs, Filipino entrepreneurs have earned over P427 billion as of June 2015.
On his state of the Nation Address in 2016 , the Philippine Development Plan 2017-2022 (PDP) fleshed out the pronouncements of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte into real policies and programs that the government plans to implement in the next five years. This aims to introduce government "policies , strategies and programs based on the common vision of the people" to improve the living standards of each person, induce the expansion of the middle class and achieve a "where no one is poor" society.
The Republic Act No.10931 was signed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte , also referred to as The Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act, on the 3rd day of August 2017. In State Universities and Colleges, Local Universities and Colleges and State-Run Professional Training Centers, this offers free tuition fees and other school fees.
Universal Health Care law was signed by President Duterte to give Filipinos the full access to health care services they needed without letting them endure the financial hardships they are facing.
The per-capita GDP of the Philippines was last estimated in 2017 at an all-time high of 2,891.36 U.S. dollars. That's well above the average for the period 1960-2017 of 1,627.98 USD. According to Forbes Magazine , As per-capita GDP is changed by purchasing power parity ( PPP), Filipinos do better under Duterte. The index, too, hit a record 7,599.19 U.S. dollars in 2017, well above the 1990-2017 average of 4969.71 USD.
In support with entrepreneurship and innovation , President Rodrigo Roa Duterte signed the Republic Act No. 11293, signed on 17 April 2019. The purpose of this law is to remove barriers to innovation by "suppressing bureaucratic barriers" and promote an entrepreneurial attitude to stimulate local business growth.
Everyone has its own amazing way on how to lead their people. But in this case , since he is still on the position , President Rodrigo Duterte may still make the economy more developed than what it is right now , he still have 2 more years to improve the economy. And on the major issues of common people: law and order, corruption, the environment, public services and facilities, and foreign affairs, President Rodrigo Duterte does better than his predecessor.

Italy, the south-central European republic, occupies a peninsula that just deep into the Mediterranean Sea. Italy comprises some of Earth's most varied and scenic landscapes, and is often characterized as a boot-shaped country. Rome, it's capital, is home to landmark architecture, and ancient ruins.
Italy is the eurozone's third-largest economy, eighth largest by nominal GDP in the world. It has a diversified industrial economy, divided into a large, private-owned industrial north, and a less-developed, heavily subsidized agricultural south. It is also a large manufacturer and exporter of significant variety of products such as machinery , vehicles , pharmaceutical , furniture , food , clothing and robots.
It is also well known for its influential and inventive business sector, industrious and competitive agricultural sector and beautifully designed manufacturers of high-quality products including cars, ships, home appliances and designer clothing. Italy is Europe's biggest luxury goods hub, and the third largest luxury market in the world.
Even after these major accomplishments, the economy of today's world suffers from structural and non-structural problems. Annual growth rates have always been below the EU average with the late 2000s recession hitting Italy especially hard. And despite a government initiative to encourage firms to increase their digital presence in 2016, less than one out of every 10 non-financial firms in Italy sell online. This is the third-lowest share in the EU after Romania and Bulgaria, says Eurostat, the statistical agency of the bloc
The economy of italy depends on family owned enterprise that are less productive than the their equivalent elsewhere. Industrial modernization will allow Italy's economy adjust to modernization of the global economy. This.will also let the company to innovate without looking on the traditional way. They should also consider to use a modernized way of expanding their product from across the globe by using the internet. This will give them a wide range of access to the global economy.and this will help them to gain more investment for their country.

1. What is meant by globalization and how it affected you personally?
Globalization refers to the shift to a more interdependent world economy, which creates an easier way to trade goods and services internationally. Relationships between countries are created and cultures are shared.
As a student who is living in a third world country where coping to advance technology is merely impossible. Personally, with the help of globalization I can still get the same level of information needed in my chosen profession. Not just that, but also some of the goods that I eat and use in my everyday routine. Globalization is also where we learn to understand and appreciate cultures around the world.
2. Among the main drivers of globalization, which do you think hqas contributed more to the acceleration of globalization? Why do you think so?
Among the main drivers of globalization , technological change has contributed more in the acceleration of globalization. Technological change has made the market and production into a tangible reality , where telecommunication is creating a global audience and transportation is creating a global village. In our present generation , technology is even more advance. Online bankings and even online shopping is the new transactions created using technology.
3. Why do you think the global economy is in a constant state of change? are there consequences or benefits to such changes? explain and cite a personal experience as an example.
Over the past years, the global economy has developed radically in the way it is structured and controlled by affiliated nations. These changes have possible future effect not just in the flow of goods and services but also people’s movement. As of today’s situation , the global economy is coping with happenings where the process of investing and trading is quite disturb by the pandemic. As a student , I am also experiencing change , because of the pandemic our mode of learning has change to online classes that requires more attention and time. But our goal is still there which is to graduate from our course.
