imagine if you teleported to a big multiversal hub of every version of you from every parallel universe and like 99.99% were just minor variations of some weird beetle alien and it turned out being a human made you one of the zany gimmick versions

i think the near-extinction of people making fun, deep and/or unique interactive text-based browser games, projects and stories is catastrophic to the internet. i'm talking pre-itch.io era, nothing against it.

there are a lot of fun ones listed here and here but for the most part, they were made years ago and are now a dying breed. i get why. there's no money in it. factoring in the cost of web hosting and servers, it probably costs money. it's just sad that it's a dying art form.

anyway, here's some of my favorite browser-based interactive projects and games, if you're into that kind of thing. 90% of them are on the lists that i linked above.

if you're ever thinking about making a niche project that only a select number of individuals will be nerdy enough to enjoy, keep in mind i've been playing some of these games off and on for 20~ years (Alter Ego, for example). quite literally a lifetime of replayability.

Slight update to Head-Butler Dusk during the manor years, isn't he just a ball of adorableness. Albeit this is more so an alternate appearance in terms of clothing.

Some various tid-bits about Custom Drones in Murder Drones: Morningrise

[1]: [He was truly waterproof, both internally and externally. As there are models that are water-powered in overly hot environments.]

[2]: [Albeit being more capable of doing more intensive tasks, he was more prone to needing more attention when it came down to maintenance.]

[3]: [Capable of multiple tasks at once with a rather high success rate, but at the cost of him being too over focused and immensely rude if you get in his way. May also result in some tasks that are consider less important taking less time to be complete.]

[4]: [Upon needing work outside of this range, he can simply be given a singular command phrase to which his coding will shift to whatever drone type they need at that time. Examples being drone types like Medical Drone, Security Drone, Construction Drone, Teacher Drone, etc.]

[5]: [Being a Custom-made drone, he's got the luxury of retaining a human name and a unique eye color to keep for himself along with more freedom of speech and of casual activities outside of being a Head -Butler.]

[6]: [Unlike worker drones, he has the ability to fight a human in self-defense, that is if said programming is activated by its owner of course.]

[7]: [Unfortunately custom drones do tend to need more power to sustain them which is why they are given much more powerful batteries to be active for longer periods of time, this can usually range up to at least a year usually, if overcharged it can last up to at least two and a half years.]

[8]: [Unlike regular worker drones, custom drones can have specifically made design alterations in their appearance such as inbuilt hair styles, another quality to them is they can hold a variety of nationalities, one example that exists in the manner is that Dusk is Scottish.]

Some updates/Facts about SD-Dusk

Due to being a hybrid he's prone to getting starved quicker so he needs to eat more than the usual drone. This made even worse during current day events as a Disassembly Drone which has forced the need of oil, now he to needs to consume more oil as to not become hunger crazed.

He's more prone to aggressive outbursts, this can result in just a long argument to him literally tearing you in half, just avoid him if you're capable of it or distract him with a torn off Worker Drone arm.

Compared to others like V, N and J who are capable of flying at higher speeds. V being the fastest, Dusk in comparison is the slowest when flying yet is the hardest to knockdown when in the air when attacked. So regardless of the slower flight speed, he's capable of at least retaining composure in the air.

Being one out of 75 custom made Worker Drones, he had the luxury of also being a hybrid. The downside to such is he tends to need more Maintenace compared to a regular Worker Drone.

Within the entire manor aside from Cyn, he's the only with a set of orange eyes, this also is also a trait that passed over to his Disassembly Drone body after the Gala-incident. Best part to it is both upper and lower eyes on his visor tend to change shades depending on his mood.

Tessa gave him the nickname Sunset due to his eye-color; he immediately took a liking to this nickname Tessa has for him.

He had been gifted a coat by V upon his 15th birthday, he wholeheartedly cherishes the coat, even learning how to sew and repair damaged clothing to kept it in perfect condition.

Dusk has two fears, the first being complete and absolute isolation. [This fear shows, but the 2nd one takes more.] His second fear losing his entire person. That second fear can be summed up in one singular sentence here. ["If you delete those parts of me... I won't be me anymore!"]

Here's the lad's set of eyes, I liked the idea of him having the lower and upper half of his eyes being two different shades the same color. He really wants to make his eyes two different colors though, sort aiming for a sunset appeal. Both light and darken depending upon his mood though he may decide to pull fake out with his emotions.
