A Plea for Hope as the Year Ends🕊️🇵🇸

As the end of this year approaches, all I can wish for is a moment of peace, even if just for a short while, to bring us back to our homes, to the memories and places that war has destroyed.💔💔

We simply wish to end this year with our loved ones🫂🫶, to feel the warmth of our homes that we have lost, even if only for one month. After that, the war may continue if it must. But as people, as families, we need a small pause to feel that we are still alive.

Today, we live in a small tent, with no safety or stability. Our little children, my siblings, and even the elders in family, we all dream of a moment of calm that gives us a chance to rebuild our lives—or at least to breathe life away from the sounds of bombs.

Your support means hope for us. It means a chance to survive, to find a safe place, and to rebuild the dreams that were shattered. We are asking for your help to raise funds to get through this crisis, to secure our basic needs, and to try to live with dignity.💔🥹

My headcanons of the in-between scenes. As a writer, how one episode made me love these two so much is a mystery I’m working to unravel.

I know we like to say that Ekko is the only one in the Arcane cast who has functioning brain cells.

But, guys.... remember the opening of season 1 with the Firelight's raid... They were in the middle of a raid, an extremely time sensitive and dangerous situation with their enemies all around them... and this boy freezes like a deer in headlights when he sees Jinx.

Mind you at this point Jinx and him have been enemies for years now.....and this boy seriously stopped in the middle of a raid to just stare at his enemy longingly. He only snaps out of it when Jinx takes out his teammates!

Baby boy, if that had been anyone other than Jinx—or if there was anyone else around—you would've been dead by now.

Case in point: Ekko is the only one in Arcane with functioning brain cells... until he sees Jinx, then those brain cells disappear faster than a drop of water in a desert.

Thoughts on how Ekko never got to see Jinx with Isha?? 😭😭😭😭

I've elaborated on this a little bit once already hagssh BUT I think it's so unfortunate. Ekko being an extraordinary caregiver, as the leader of the firelights and the leader of the little sanctuary he lives in who takes in victims of Shimmer, I bet there's too many kids in unfortunate situations he takes in so he would already have great experience with kids!!

But I'd like to also point out that Ekko's likely never seen Jinx be soft, the big boom boom ka-plooey destruction and bomb girl be soft! He's seen her be mean, crazy and harsh but in the end he's never seen Jinx be as soft as she was with Isha. Because Isha definitely changed something in her, she was so much more free. She was kinder, thought of fun creative ideas catered for Isha, she even changed her room to make it safer for a small child like Isha.

I'm so very upset that we never got the opportunity to see Ekko seeing Jinx be as soft as she was with Isha. I think, that he would've fallen in love with her even more if he had the opportunity to see Jinx and Isha. He's seen alt universe Powder be kind first hand, but the opportunity of Jinx being kind in his universe? Revolutionary.

If timebomb were to have kids, what do you think the family dynamic would be like?

Personally I haven’t even thought of kids for timebomb simply because I still see them as teens/young adults BUT if it were to happen it’d be something like accidentally raising a kid off the street (like Isha) or a few years later in the alt universe.

But I think that Ekko’s a certified girl-dad, his daughter would squeal and cheer at her papa riding this super cool hoverboard thing and she wants to do it too!! Even though Ekko has seen countless children ride the boards he still feels nervous having his own daughter on something so dangerous (the same thing he’s been riding for years may I add)

And when he does let her ride it, he’s hovering over her like no tomorrow he’s not letting her get hurt at ALL a single scratch and he’s snatching the board. Which does make his daughter all pissy and like whiny so she runs to her mom.

And Jinx, knowing how protective Ekko is, tells him to lighten up a bit. It’s fine if she gets a scratch or two and Ekko doesn’t want to but he does back off a bit and watches from the sidelines, very nervously, as he watches his daughter try to balance on a board. He almost cries when he sees his daughter fall off and scrape her arm. She gets up without fuss and tries again.

While Ekko has like 8 heart attacks watching his daughter try and master the board, Jinx is cheering her on. Once she does manage to balance she doesn’t have trouble moving, and at this point she’s got the hang of things, a few scrapes and bruises but she’ll make it.

Jinx on the other hand loves taking her daughter on adventures, with some idea of safety now after Isha. She makes sure that her kid always feels included, whenever she’s tinkering with a new machine she always tells her how exciting it is and how she can help by getting mommy her good wrench.

Jinx also teaches her kid how to shoot, and this kid is a SHARP shooter. Like her mama she’s enamored with guns and Ekko’s a tiny bit worried about it but as long as she’s being relatively safe he won’t interfere.

On that hand I think that if they had a kid the firelights would be so very involved, like this kids gonna grow up with the most loving community. She’s gonna have a protector with her no matter where she goes.

I also think this girl would be just super inventive, following after her mom or dad she’d find them working with machines all the time just super fascinating, and even if she doesn’t understand she loves to help. By the time she’s like 8, she’s made a bomb already from spare scraps and Ekko is astonished and Jinx has stars in her eyes like “yeah that’s my kid alright”

They’d be very cute all in all !!
