It’s the start of our 7th-Year Wedding Anniversary Weekend which in actual is on the 15th of August. I am in awe of the realization that it has been 7 years of marriage and we have a 5 year-old going to the age of 6 this November. I am truly blessed to have a wife like @botanykcanne. She has been a wonderful wife through all these years. I know it has not been easy to have me as a husband due to my innate impatience, frustrations and black-and-white outlook in life. Despite this, she has remained strong and supportive. I won’t last myself if I were to relate with myself as a separate person but she did. She is truly a Proverbs 31 Woman. We are truly an unconventional married couple. Since the very start we have been tagged differently in so many levels of our lives. People have even looked down at us for being together as a young couple in the courtship stage but here we are now, grateful for the years that God has allowed us to be in surrender to Him. It is so impossible for us to be working out our journey but by the grace of God we are here. Through His blood we are in continuous sanctification and we are changing every single day in are personal walk with Christ. I personally am in total amazement by how God has remained in our midst as a married couple and as a family. I am indeed overwhelmed by God’s glory through all we have been through. Marriage is not easy but in Christ, things were able to hold. Beautiful is this life because we have Christ bonding us despite the water and oil nature of who we are. Marriage is a Miracle as I see it and it continually strengthens our faith in Him. We pray that in due time our daughter would experience such a love that is under the greatness of who Christ is. That will be a story we will be excited to see the pages of life flip upon. As parents, we are in view of a living embodiment of our love. I just love the idea of how different I am from my wife. We usually don’t agree in a lot of aspects in our lives. There are times we argue (a lot) but that’s okay. It gives us more room the exercise our unconditional love for one another. It helps us become objective in decision making. A lot of times we hope for a partner who exactly thinks the way we do or someone who likes what we like or dislikes what we dislike. There’s nothing wrong about that. But it isn’t bad as well if you’re different like East is to the West. Come to think of it, East and West may seem far (depending on which location you face). It can even go North or South but where those directions go, they can meet as one. Your way to South can lead to North Vice-Versa. Your way to East can lead you to your West Vice-Versa. In a few hours, it’s officially Resurrection Sunday or for some, it’s called Easter Sunday. It’s an established commemorative day for the completed work of Christ (one of thre persons in one) to pay the penalty for all sins. This is the bittersweet significance of this week (Holy Week) — that Christ died on the cross for our sins but has rose again as He has defeated death and teh iniquities attached to us from the very beginning. This is such a heavy Word and topic. This world is so littered with acts of injustice. The unjust thoughts of men also saturate common man’s thinking. People are victimized by people who think they are the heroes of the story. When in reality, this state isn’t constant. If you’re a person who like me, has experienced injustice in the hands of those who think they know better and have power, I am praying for you; that things may go well with you. Let us continually trust that beyond man, God’s justice will prevail. Let us stand in faith that in every aspect in life such as personal, financial, political, religious, and spiritual, God will make His presence know and bring the ultimate justice where none can disagree. “It is not good to show partiality to the guilty, denying an innocent person justice.
