The Visage Academy: An AU Drag Race RP

Here at the Visage Academy For Girls*, we pride ourselves on hiring the best of the best to our faculty. So, we hope you lied on your resume. This RP follows the lives of the teachers and staff at one of the most highly sought-after boarding schools for girls and non-binary children who feel more comfortable in that environment from grades K-12 (or ages 5-18).

Okay, this was not going well. “I’m not saying it’s fair game!” Danny insisted an nervously ran a hand through his hair. What could he say to make this better? Nothing. “She was – I was just seeing how she was I – I was fuckin’ hammered.” He sighed, that was not an excuse, the words were just coming out and he couldn’t stop it. “She kissed me! What the fuck do you when you’re drunk and a hot girl kisses you?”

“You think ‘oh hey, this was my best friend’s girl, maybe I shouldn’t fuck her,” Noah snapped. It almost felt like he was arguing just for the sake of it, but he was angry, and nothing else he could do would make him feel any better about it.

“Don’t say that too hastily.” Ny murmured. “I want a lot and more than half it you cannot give me.” His thumb ran over Gabriel’s bottomlip. “What do you offer?” It was more fun that way.

“I-I-I don’t know,” all pretenses of coming off as the cool, edgy art student had since dissipated. “What is it you want?” he asked softly.

I know that, but every time it happens–” He’s getting choked up again. “It just, I get so fucking sad and angry at myself because if I had just moved a bit faster, they might be okay. And then I feel horrible because this isn’t my person to grieve and I don’t know…” Taylor wipes at his face because he’s crying again.

“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that,” Jamie mused. He could only imagine how he’d feel if he tried to do his job. “I think that just makes you human, it’s in our nature to grieve, you know?” he offered, wrapping an arm around him comfortingly.

Really, the reason he was so upset about the movie being upsetting was because he was already upset. He thought this movie would cheer him up, and obviously it didn’t. “Sorry, um. I don’t want to bother you.” The paramedic is so aware of how often he has emotional reactions to things. “I was already upset and I thought the movie would make me feel better and well–” They both know how that turned out.

“You can bother me, it’s alright,” Jamie assured. He was a psychology major - he liked being able to understand someone’s feelings, especially if he was able to help them. “What’s got you down?”

“Broken up doesn’t mean fair game,” Noah retorted. “I’m not going to throw ‘bro code’ or whatever around, but it’s just common courtesy. It was like, a fucking week dude, barely. The bed was still warm!” He ran his hand through his hair, trying to keep himself even-keeled.

“You need to hear me out, okay?” Danny insisted, backing up and holding his hands up in surrender. He had made a mistake, sleeping with someone’s girl, broken up or not, was a huge NO. “She said you were broken up, that you weren’t together. It was a mistake!”

“It better include more than coffee and a snack.” He leaped forward, graceful as a puma, into the young man’s personal space. “What to do with you?” He purred softly, his strong fingers finding Gabriel’s chin.

Gabe’s heart started beating faster, his face as red as ever. “It’ll include whatever you want,” he replied, attempting to sound smooth as he looked up to meet his gaze.

Steve didn’t mind the process of art creation taking awhile, even if it did mean his backside was well and truly numb by the time Gabe announced that he’d finished. Slipping out of the position he’d been sitting in made Steve groan quietly in relief and he stretched his arms above his head to alleviate some of the kinks in his back. He took a look over at the finished product Gabe held up and grinned. “It looks great! It’s just… wow, I really like your technique. I know I’ve said that before, but it bears repeating.” 

Gabe beamed brightly, thrilled to receive positive feedback. “You really think so? I was worried it was starting to look a bit crooked,” he admitted. He was still trying to hone his craft, slowly but surely becoming more confident in his abilities.

Taylor shrugs. “I guess.” He’s literally a five year old. The paramedic frowns at the touchy comment. He bites down on his lip. “I shouldn’t be lashing out at you, sorry.” He’s not even sure what his issue is. Sure, last shift went south for a few patients, but that comes with the territory. He wishes it didn’t affect him so much. 

Jamie shrugged it off with a smile. “It’s fine, don’t worry,” he assured, waiting until the movie ended. “Are you alright?” he asked gently, putting a hand on his shoulder and squeezing reassuringly.

“Spoilers!? Who the hell cares–Okay, fine, spoilers, but still. I know I’m like, the annoying person whose always fucking crying.” He sniffles again. “Wait, is this character about to die!? What the fuck!?” Taylor rolls his eyes at Jamie’s words. “Yeah, whatever, Socrates, I get plenty of reminders I’m alive.” Forgive him, he’s emotional right now.

“Would it make you feel better if I told you that there have been tv commercials that make me cry?” Jamie offered. Being wildly empathetic, it rarely took much to trigger an emotional response from him. “Jesus, touchy today aren’t we?” he murmured.

Taylor tosses a pillow at the other. “That’s still laughing at me!” He whines. “You should’ve told me so I could’ve, you know, not done this to myself? It’s embarrassing.” He hated how sensitive he was. Sure, sometimes it helped with his job, but sometimes it hindered his job as well. “Crying was not how I wanted to spend my Saturday.”

“But spoilers,” Jamie defended. He wouldn’t even watch a trailer for a movie if he was particularly excited about seeing it. “Besides, I’ve cried at plenty of films. I think it’s healthy - reminds us that we’re alive, you know?” perhaps it was a morbid viewpoint, but one he felt sincerely.

Steve held in a little laugh when Gabe swiped long streaks of charcoal across his forehead. He’d come out of longer sketching sections looking similarly, but it was just undeniably cute when it happened to Gabe. “I think I’d better just try to tough it out,” he replied, reassuming the position needed for the sketch. “Especially if you’re more than halfway done. I’ll be fine.”

“I promise it won’t be much longer,” Gabe assured with a slight smile before his gaze refocused on his drawing. It didn’t take as long as he had worried it would, and he had finished to his own satisfaction within the next couple hours. “There, I think that’s as good as it’s gonna get,” he chuckled, holding up the finished product. “What do you think?”

“Sorry, it’s just…” Steve huffed out a little laugh and did his utmost to keep himself still. “I think my ass might’ve fallen asleep.” He couldn’t help but smile at the charcoal-streaked state Gabe was in. He tended to forget, when he was on the other side of the sketchbook, how much of a pain it could be to be completely still for such extensive periods of time. “But surely you’re making progress if there’s that much charcoal on you?”

Gabe smiled softly, wiping his hand across his forehead, which ended up leaving streaks of black across his skin. “Do you think if you take a minute to walk it off you can get back in the same position?” he asked, looking from him to his book. “Yeah, I’d put it at three-quarters of the way done, give or take,” he mused.

Darren beamed as his arms slipped around Kurt’s waist, leaning down to meet him for the kiss “Oh I know, though luckily you know where I am… stunned you haven’t snuck a GPS on me” he whispered playfully, lifting Kurt up with his hands on that perfect ass as he stole another kiss “Now, question is if I take you to a bed or if I just hold you nicely against a wall like this” he said, turning to press Kurt against the nearest wall “And just make out with you here to make up for all that time I spent trying your patience with my absence”

“I’m needy, not a stalker,” Kurt retorted with an indignant huff, then a laugh to assure he wasn’t actually offended. He smirked, leaning against the wall and locking his legs around his waist, pulling him closer and kissing him deeply. “We’ll get to bed later,” he murmured against his lips. “I want you right now.”
