Thought I would redraw a shot of Ed and Ling after going through the experience that was the season 2 finale! Fun fact: it was that finale that absolutely made me fall in love with this show! I won't mention the context of this illustration as big spoilers (please watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood if you haven't already, you won't regret it!) I am thinking so hard about the fact that Yomeil didn’t want to have his immortal never aging life because he felt like a freak of nature. Normally, when someone is immortal, they see it as a curse because everyone around them dies and that’s it. But Yomeil, he wanted to fit in. It’s so devastating. And again from a queer perspective so relatable? Like nobody would mind to be different if you’re accepted.
