Hey Amanda, so sorry to bother you, I stumbled upon your Eris cosplay while I was looking for references on her clothes. I intend cosplaying as her (my first time!!!) but it's so so hard and your cosplay looks absolutely flawless... I was wondering... do you happen to have a pictorial on how to do that cosplay? Or if it's not too much trouble, could you share with me your method for doing eris cloak? Specifically the top part, looks rigid and EXACTLY like the one in the game. Thank u so much!!!

Hi! I'm so sorry I took forever to get back to you! Thabk you so much for the compliment! I put a lot of work into my Eris cosplay. Snd it wasn't easy! Eris is such a cool character and for her to be your first cosplay is awesome! The top part of her cloak was such a pain for me to figure out. What I used to make it stiff was a very thick interfacing on the inside. I'm going to look and see if I have pictures of it somewhere, or I'll take some pictures of it this weekend! But that top head piece is tricky to make! I might still have the pattern for it somewhere!

So for LA Comic Con I went as Eris! And I handed out dried fruit candies to all the Guardians who recognized me! (It was just before Halloween so it was perfect timing!) I was very surprised by how many people knew who I was, and how excited they were to get a tiny box of raisins! It made me so happy to see their reactions!

Recently got some more Eris photos from Anime Expo, there’s only a few but enjoy! The bottom picture you can unfortunately see one of the straps that holds on my shoulder rocks, I apologize for that. I can’t see so it wasn’t fixed until later.

I’m all out of Eris pictures for the time being. I may be wearing her to Stan Lee’s LA Comic Con in October. I was thinking of handing out ‘dried fruit candies’ to those who recognize Eris. But we will see. It’s such a hard cosplay to get into, seriously it takes me about 2 hours, and I unfortunately can’t put it on alone. But if I do I will get more pictures taken!

I’m also planning one, maybe two more shoots outside of conventions in Eris. I plan those for the winter time once we get some snow in the mountains.

The last of my Eris pictures. I hope you liked them! This was a challenging cosplay and it drove me insane making it, but I was very pleased overall with how it came out. I hope to wear it again! Eris is my favorite character and I hope I did her justice.

Had some fun with the backdrops at Anime Expo, thought these two fit a little. First one is Eris looking out at the Earth from a ship. Second and third are Eris finding a dead Ghost in what’s left of a city.

You can see more of the detail in these pictures. I spent a lot of time looking at pictures of her to get everything as close as possible. The Hive symbols on the skirt drove me insane but somehow they came out alright. Everything was hand painted by me. Everything was sewn by me, everything was crafted by me (except the Ghost). Yes I did it all and it drove me absolutely mad...

I’m so happy to see that a lot of people are liking my Eris Morn cosplay! I put so much work into that costume, and I’m just so glad to see others enjoy it! I hope you like the rest of the pictures I post! I’m doing them in small batches at a time to space everything out and not spam my followers.

My awesome boyfriend had this Ghost made for me, so I had to include it in the shoot! Even though Eris’ Ghost may be dead it doesn’t mean I can’t take pictures with one! Especially a pink one! I think Eris would like a pink Ghost, don’t you?
