Kacchi Biryani
Kacchi Biryani is the soul of Bengali cuisine. Biryani is enjoyed all over the Indian Subcontinent and every region has its own version of biryani. Kacchi Biryani is the Bangladeshi version. Marinated meat and aromatic rice is cooked together in a pot. When you bite in the tender piece of meat along with the rice, the taste is heavenly. Fuchka
Fuchka is the second most popular street food in Bangladesh. You can find it all over the country. It is also known as Paani puri/ Golgappa in India. People of all ages enjoys it. Crsipy-hollowed chip is filled with stuffing like boiled lentils, potato, chick-pea and chat masala. Then it is served with tamarind water. You just pour some tamarind water on fuchka and put it into your mouth. And then BAM!!! It’s a burst of flavor!!!!

Jhal muri is common & popular street food in Bangladesh. It is also made is household for evening snack. Puffed rice is mixed with onion, chilly, crisps, mustard oil, mixed spices etc. Jhal muri is also a popular Iftar item during Ramadan.
