I have a lot of creative energy, yet I sit mindlessly scrolling through lobotomizing Instagram reels and TikToks. I've thought countless times about what to do about my restlessness, but I stay stagnant. I want to make something personal and honest with all of my favorite things. I worry if what I make will be enough for me, I doubt myself a lot but my contentment is getting harder to come by and I think I just need to do it

Okay but every time you deal with something hard on your own, even though you feel that initial pull of sadness that you canāt go to someone who used to be a source of comfort for you to share the burden, you are actually building internal strength and fortitude. So consider THAT this morning

āI feel very small. I don't understand. I have so much courage, fire, energy, for many things, yet I get so hurt, so wounded by small things.ā

Yknow that post about that person watchin Parasite expecting there to be an actual flesh parasite monster.
Well I was readin āInvisible Manā by Ralph Ellison, which is a good book about a man tryna find his way in a world that doesnāt want him after his entire life plan fuckin falls apart (the invisibility in this case is metaphorical).
And I was NOT reading āTHE Invisible Manā by H.G. Wells (which does in fact star an actually invisible man)
So Iām readin like ādamn, this dude fuckin goin through it! The groups of power present truly do not see him as the man he is, but rather what they wish him to be! Making him, metaphorically, invisible!
ā¦
And then heās actually gonna turn invisible!!!!ā

the angel staying over at my house asked for a nightlight in their room and i told them buddy, don't you produce your own light? what're you gonna do with more? and they said they wanted to see why people like it so much. and also that the nightlight i own is blue and they're been trying to understand color. anyways i think they've stared at it for an hour now

iām gonna cry itās raining right now and i just passed by a family where both parents were without an umbrella but their kid who couldnāt have been older than like 3-4 was proudly holding this GIANT umbrella whose diameter was as tall (if not taller) as the kid. both the parents were getting absolutely drenched but u could tell the kid was just so happy to have an āadultā task and carry the umbrella themselves and i think that sacrifice is what love is all about
