Bandai Gashapon Announces Tamagotchi Light Mascot

These are adorable and a first! Bandai Gashapon has just announced Tamagotchi Light Mascots which will soothe you with a faint glow. It features an on/off switch and the batteries can be replaced. These come in four styles, which are Mametchi on a couch reading a book, Kuchipatchi sitting on a tree stump holding an apple, Chestnut angel riding a duck, and Mimitchi popping out of a Tamagotchi Original held up by a cloud.

Set to be released in Japan the fourth week of March, 2025 at your favorite Gashapon location for ¥400.

Being an animal of short memory, if you leave her for about half a minute, she will have forgotten about you and, on receiving a tactile stimulus, she will repeat the action of putting her head in, waiting a few seconds, and then putting it out again. Bandai Gashapon Announces Tamagotchi Hair Clips Volume 2

Step up your hair game! Bandai Gashapon has just announced the successor to volume one, and they’re angel and monster themed! That’s right, eight angel and monster themed Tamagotchi hair clips in Gashaspon capsules. The hair clips are modeled both after the actual Tamagotchi Angel and Tamagotchi Monster as well as some of the characters, and the iconic UFO.

They’ll be released nationwide in Japan at Gashapon machines starting the third week of September, 2024 and cost ¥300 each including tax.

How to Obtain Lucky Unchi-kun on Tamagotchi Angel, Another Tamagotchi Mystery Solved After 27 Years

Another Tamagotchi mystery has been solved, this community is incredible! After 27 years the mystery of how to obtain Lucky Unchi-kun, better wise known as the poop character has been solved. It was formerly believed that you could obtain Unchi-kun by a rare chance of evolving from Ghost Jr who doesn't evolve into Marutchi Angel and whose AP maxed out at 90.

YouTuber Aibonnotamakatsunikki has posted a video on how to obtain Unchi-kun. According to this video, first, raise Oyajitchi Angel. Second, raise Oyajitchi Angel again, evolve him into Fake Unchi-kun and let him return to heaven. Third, raise the third generation into Ginjirotchi Angel and let him return to heaven. Finally, the fourth generation doesn't grow up to Marutchi Angel as usual. Keep raising the Obaketchi for 5 or 6 days and the Obaketchi becomes true Lucky Unchi-kun.

How to Obtain Moll and Lora on Mothra Tamagotchi - a Mystery Cracked after 27 Years

Major news for those Mothra Tamagotchi fans. For those who do not know, this is the Tamagotchi that keeps on giving because there are so few owners who are actively playing and there are so many mysteries that we’re all still trying to unlock.

Back in 2021 a YouTuber was able to obtain the super rare character Moll and Lora by mean of the battery trick which was an interesting and unintended action that shocked the community. Now, it appears that the play pattern to obtain Moll and Lora has been cracked!

After years of debate whether it was possible, rhubarb_pie on Discord provides that you can raise the twin characters Moll and Lora on the Mothra Tamagotchi. How did they get here? The ROM for Mothra was dumped about a month ago and the code was then studied by rhubarb_pie. They have posted a comprehensive guide on the discord post you can find here.

The Tamagotchi Wiki has created an infographic that explains everything in the post mentioned above in a more concise way. You must follow all four steps in order to obtain Moll and Lora!

Can we please acknowledge how dedicated rhubarb_pie was in their research? This is an incredible discovery for a Tamagotchi that was released in 1997.
