Reminder that this blog was created for people that are 18+ only. Thanks! Anyways, I'm that guy who made some heart videos on YouTube. Now I make drawings and animations with random characters I've created. I don't really post often, but whenever I feel like I have something cool to show, I'll post it here. Also here's the YouTube I might post on again someday. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDo6dIWLuf8GRBlrUEq8SfQ

My Heartbeat Skipping Frequently
Here's a couple files I recorded in June when my heart decided to go a little wonky for about a week. It's happened in the past, but this was the first time it had happened in about three years. Also this post is a bit of a reminder that I do have a YouTube for long audios of my heart which I upload to every once in a while.

An Unfortunate Tiefling
This tiefling, Azelina, has a very unfortunate story to her. One night, after a long day of baking, she went to the tavern to have a few pints and wind down. As she sat at a table sipping on her drink, a commotion from nearby startled her. A wizard and an orc had been arguing and both now stood across from one another. The orc drew his axe and charged the wizard while the wizard stumbled backwards in a panic. Quickly, he tried to fire two quick lightning spells but missed the orc, leaving Azelina right in the way. Both spells struck her and she fell to the ground.
Luckily the village healer and a couple others ran to her aid as she laid on the ground, unconscious. It took multiple resuscitation attempts but they managed to bring her back before taking her to the healer's home to recover. Since the incident, her heart's electrical system has been in disarray. It can fluctuate from an almost dangerously slow pace to tachycardia without warning. This incident from a visit to the healer is a snippet from one of her worst episodes.
She continues to work as a baker and tries to not let her heart bother her, but it is often distracting and she sometimes struggles to sleep at night. The local healer has been trying to figure out a way to help through magic and herbs but so far nothing has seemed to work...

Stuff I've Had Laying Around
Here is a compilation of a few things I had laying around that were either tests or things I forgot to fully finish. I haven't uploaded anything because I want to start making more complete videos with some sort of story or concept behind them rather than just random clips of me messing around. I've got one video of the sort that I have almost complete, I just need to fix it up to bring it to a better quality. So until then, I give you these stitched together clips.

Estrid the Tiefling's Breathing and Heartbeat
A new quick video whipped up in about 2 hours! Watch as Estrid takes deep breaths and listen to her unstable resting heartbeat.
This was actually not one of the videos I mentioned in the previous post, and was made out of nowhere. I got the urge to try and do a breathing animation and while working on it I realized I could give her expressions not tied to the original animation, allowing me to give her random and varying expressions throughout the video. So now she dynamically blinks throughout, giving her a less static appearance. The next goal is to add dynamic ribs and lungs so that I can do videos like this in the normal style.
Also, I decided to give her a name since she has been in multiple of the animations and videos I've made so far so why not. From now on, she will be known as Estrid.

Muscular Tiefling's Resting vs Post Exercise Heart Rate
A well trained tiefling with a large muscular heart shows the difference between her resting and post exercise heartbeats. She has spent many a year training with the sword and with the weights to get to this point, but she still isn't to what she believes is her peak. Short background aside, I've been feeling pretty inspired to make these lately and have been having fun messing with the audio files and creating the drawings and animations. I still want to get to the point where these are more dynamic, with breathing, facial expressions, higher detail, etc. But for now, I hope you think these animations are cool.

Clear Tiefling's Irregular Heart
Redownloaded a video editing software after resetting my computer a while back to try and do some audio sync. Took the clear tiefling from before and tried to sync the animation with some edited heart sounds I made using sound files from the Skyrim Heart Rate mod. I think it looks like it synced pretty well so I'll probably start making more of these instead of simple gifs. I'll link the Skyrim mod below as well in case anybody wants to try it, I thought it was kind of cool.

A Try at a More Dynamic GIF
Tried to make the image a bit more dynamic by actually giving the character a pose and trying to add a bit of motion, but it still looks quite robotic. Just thought I'd show it anyways just to show what I've been trying to work on.

Clear Tiefling
Just a little test gif. Took an already pre-existing thing I had laying around, added some extra details and traced over a heart gif I found on Google. Quite rough but I thought it looked kinda cool. Might try to make it so she looks like she's breathing as well later, but for now here is what I got. (Also a bit annoyed I left the hair layer transparent but I'm too lazy to fix it now)
