#GOT Game of Thrones - Jenny of Old Stones
#got #game #thrones #Lyrics High in the halls of the kings who are gone Jenny would dance with her ghosts The ones she had lost and the ones she had found And the ones who had loved her the most The ones who'd been gone for so very long She couldn't remember their names They spun her around on the damp old stones Spun away all her sorrow and pain And she never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave Never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave They danced through the day And into the night through the snow that swept through the hall From winter to summer then winter again 'Til the walls did crumble and fall And she never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave Never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave And she never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave Never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave High in the halls of the kings who are gone Jenny would dance with her ghosts The ones she had lost and the ones she had found And the ones Who had loved her the most Source: LyricFind Songwriters: Ramin Djawadi / George Raymond Richard Martin / David Benioff / Dan Weiss Jenny of Oldstones lyrics © Universal Music Publishing Group Jenny is said to have been a strange and lovely girl[1] who wore flowers in her hair.[2] Local villagers considered the wild Jenny a half-mad peasant, with some calling her a witch. She became popular with smallfolk throughout the Seven Kingdoms, however.[1][4] History Jenny claimed descent from long-vanished kings of the First Men.[1] The ruined castle of Oldstones was once the seat of House Mudd.[2] Duncan Targaryen, the Prince of Dragonstone, met Jenny while traveling the riverlands in 239 AC. The prince loved Jenny so much he married her against the wishes of his father, King Aegon V Targaryen, breaking his betrothal to the daughter of Lyonel Baratheon, Lord of Storm's End. King Aegon tried to have the marriage undone, but Duncan refused to give Jenny up, ultimately relinquishing his rights to the Iron Throne for her. The outraged Lyonel led a short-lived rebellion. With his younger brother Jaehaerys becoming Prince of Dragonstone and the new heir, Duncan came to be called Prince of Dragonflies.[1] Jenny was friends with a woods witch whom she considered one of the children of the forest. The dwarf woman, whom Jenny brought to court, prophesied that the prince that was promised would be born from the line of Prince Aerys and Princess Rhaella Targaryen. When Prince Jaehaerys heard the prophecy he arranged a marriage between his two children.[5][1] King Aegon and Prince Duncan were killed in the tragedy at Summerhall in 259 AC.[6] According to a song, Jenny danced with her ghosts in the hall of kings.[7] When Catelyn Tully was twelve, she camped at Oldstones while traveling to Seagard with her father, Lord Hoster Tully. Catelyn and Petyr Baelish, her father's ward, pretended to be Jenny and Duncan, with Catelyn winding flowers in her hair.[2] Recent Events A Storm of Swords The ghost of High Heart requests that Tom of Sevenstreams sing Jenny's song.[3] While at Oldstones, Robb Stark recalls a song about Jenny.[2] Tom sings about Jenny while waiting for Merrett Frey to arrive at Oldstones.[7] A Feast for Crows Among other sad songs, Marillion sings of Jenny and Prince Duncan Targaryen while imprisoned at the Eyrie.[8] Quotes The Prince of Dragonflies loved Jenny of Oldstones so much he cast aside a crown, and Westeros paid the bride price in corpses.[9] —thoughts of Barristan Selmy

#Top #List #Most #Expensive #Car In The World
#Top 10 #Most Expensive #Cars In The World 2020 2021. Today in this video we are going to show you the top 10 most expensive production cars in the world. Note that only cars which are still in production are included in the list. One-off Special luxury cars and cars sold in an auction are not included in the list. Some of the prices are estimated. You will enjoy these good-looking and most beautiful hypercars. All the information provided in this video is true to the best of our knowledge. Thanks There is a whole world of consumption where people voluntarily get into cars, brave traffic, navigate complex stores, and deal with apathetic workers, just to get something they want, right now. In Colombia, there is a courier app that delivers bodega-like food items in minutes. Prime Now and Instacart offer same-day delivery, but that's not fast enough when you're hungry right now. Maybe Amazon will bottle up what's happening in Colombia, or maybe they won't. But if you're hedging your bets, and assume you can't win the delivery game, what's the next best thing? Bring people to products. A car (or automobile) is a wheeled motor vehicle used for transportation. Most definitions of cars say that they run primarily on roads, seat one to eight people, have four wheels, and mainly transport people rather than goods.Cars came into global use during the 20th century, and developed economies depend on them. The year 1886 is regarded as the birth year of the car when German inventor Karl Benz patented his Benz Patent-Motorwagen. Cars became widely available in the early 20th century. One of the first cars accessible to the masses was the 1908 Model T, an American car manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. Cars were rapidly adopted in the US, where they replaced animal-drawn carriages and carts, but took much longer to be accepted in Western Europe and other parts of the world.Cars have controls for driving, parking, passenger comfort, and a variety of lights. Over the decades, additional features and controls have been added to vehicles, making them progressively more complex, but also more reliable and easier to operate. These include rear-reversing cameras, air conditioning, navigation systems, and in-car entertainment. Most cars in use in the early 2020s are propelled by an internal combustion engine, fueled by the combustion of fossil fuels. Electric cars, which were invented early in the history of the car, became commercially available in the 2000s and are predicted to cost less to buy than gasoline cars before 2025. The transition from fossil fuels to electric cars features prominently in most climate change mitigation scenarios, such as Project Drawdown's 100 actionable solutions for climate change. There are costs and benefits to car use. The costs to the individual include acquiring the vehicle, interest payments (if the car is financed), repairs and maintenance, fuel, depreciation, driving time, parking fees, taxes, and insurance. Google Pixel 2 Rumors at a Glance
Just two Pixels will ship in the fall, after Google reportedly shelves a third model
LG reportedly will build at lest one of the new phones
Expect a curved OLED screen with a similar aspect ratio to the Galaxy S8
Waterproof design
Snapdragon 835 processor
5.99-inch screen for Pixel 2 XL and 4.97 inches for Pixel 2 (according to XDA Developers)
Two Models, Not Three?
A report from German site WinFuture picked up by Slashgear claimed that Google may be working on three Google Pixel phones for 2017. The codenames are supposedly Walleye, Muskie and Taimen. All three are names of fish, and Walleye is believed to be the smallest of the bunch, and Muskie could be the replacement for the Google Pixel XL. Because the Taimen is a larger fish, it could possibly be a Pixel 2 XXL.
Since that report broke, however, Android Police followed up with a report that Muskie, the rumored successor to the Pixel XL, had been cancelled. Instead, Google is going to focus on Taimen, which will have a bigger screen than the current Pixel XL; Walleye, the Pixel's successor, is still on track, too. According to 9to5Google, a bug report indicates that LG is making the Taimen phone on Google's behalf.
Display
Based on a June report from XDA Developers, the larger of the two new Pixel 2 phones (Taimen) will sport a 5.99-inch OLED display with 1440p resolution. The smaller Walleye device will reportedly feature a 4.97-inch screen. Interestingly, the site claims that only the larger Pixel 2 will have narrower bezels, which seems odd.
According to an April report from Korean outlet ETNews, Google is looking to secure access to flexible OLED technology from LG Display, which could give the Pixel 2 a slick curved screen that brings it up to speed with the Galaxy S8.
Earlier, specs of the Pixel XL2 — which seems like it's the Taimen phone Google's allegedly working on — were posted on the GFXBench benchmarking site. They show a phone with a 5.6-inch screen and 2560 x 1320 resolution, giving the Pixel XL2 essentially the same aspect ratio as the Galaxy S8 and its Infinity Display.
Release Date
We now know the Google Pixel 2 will come out in 2017. Rick Osterloh, VP of Hardware at Google, confirmed it in an interview at this year's Mobile World Congress. Osterloh didn't explain exactly when, but guaranteed it, stating "You can count on a successor this year, even if you don't hear a date from me now."
The original Google Pixel and Pixel XL were released in October, so it's reasonable to expect that the sequels will arrive around the same time. This would also give Google a little bit of a buffer between the launch of its new devices and the much anticipated iPhone 8.
Price
An earlier report from 9to5Google said that Google will offer a lower-cost Pixel 2 aimed at the masses. But Google's Osterloh seemed to refute that when he noted that the company has no plans to make it less expensive, stating that "the Pixel stays premium."
The replacement for the Pixel XL could command a higher premium than today's model, says TechRadar, which currently starts at $769. The entry-level Pixel costs $649.
Processor
The same report from Slashgear notes that the next wave of Google Pixel phones will sport Qualcomm's MSM8995 chipset, which is the Snapdragon 835 platform. We've already seen how fast the Galaxy S8 can be, and it's no surprise that Google's flagships will feature the same processor.
The 835 chip is also quite efficient, so you should expect the Pixel 2 phones to last longer on a charge than their predecessors. The Pixel XL is already on our list of the longest lasting phones.
The more recent XDA Developers report seems to confirm that the Snapdragon 835 CPU will be on board along with 4GB of RAM.
Design
XDA Developers says that the back of the Pixel 2 will be similar to last year's model with a two-tone glass and metal finish. We were not a fan of that look. However, apparently the glass window is located near the top of the device and will no longer include the fingerprint scanner.
The Pixel 2 will "definitely" come with waterproofing technology, 9to5Google's Stephen Hall said in a tweet on Jan. 25. He said that he was told about the feature back in October, but "forgot about" it.

Hall added that the source, who wasn't identified in the report, told him that Google decided against offering waterproofing in the first model because of a "time constraint." He went on to say that Google was having trouble getting the hardware waterproof in time and for the right price.
Another report from 9to5Google suggests that the Pixel 2 will ditch the headphone jack, which is backed up by XDA Developers.
Camera
Not much is known about the cameras on the Pixel 2 phones, but XDA Developers reports that it will be a single lens instead of two. That means you shouldn't expect features like a true optical zoom or Portrait mode that blurs out the background, which the iPhone 7 Plus offers. The OnePlus 5 also features a dual camera setup on the back.
The Competition
The Google Pixel line is Google's answer to Apple's iPhone and Samsung's Galaxy S devices, offering big screens, ample power, and high-end cameras. And while debate rages over how well they'll sell as time goes on and they face more competition, they're clearly designed to be flagship handsets for anyone who wants a top-notch Android experience.
Looking ahead, the Google Pixel 2 will need to face off with powerful competitors, including the iPhone 8, which could make an appearance before the Pixel 2 this fall. According to rumors, the iPhone 8 could come with an all-new all-glass design, curved screen, and smarter Siri.
Expect to hear much more about the Pixel 2 in the coming months as rumors continue to surface

A sneak peak at 2017's most exciting releases
The big difference that most will notice in 2017 is how much more expensive phones are going to be. The Samsung Galaxy S8 will cost around $100/£100 more than the Galaxy S7 did and the iPhone 8, well, that’s going to be VERY expensive – $1000+.
The reason for this, I believe, is that Samsung and other players in the space knew that Apple was going to hike its prices, so they acted accordingly. Component costs haven’t gone up that much year on year, so the idea that the Galaxy S8 should cost £100 more than the Galaxy S7 is frankly ludicrous.
Perhaps Samsung is attempting to recoup its losses from last year’s Galaxy Note 7?
If you can swallow the higher prices, though, you’re in for a treat. And if you can’t, well, you still have plenty of other options in the form of new OnePlus, Sony, Oppo and Nokia releases.
Indeed, these firms and their ilk may be poised to clear up in the smartphone space if a new report from IDC is anything to go by. According to the analysis firm, the first three months of 2017 (Q1) have shown that Samsung and Apple shipments are flat year-on-year despite the fact that both are in the top-two rankings for global OEMs.
This is juxtaposed with the fact that the smartphone market appears to be growing while Apple and Samsung remain fairly fixed, on the same note, the remaining top 5 firms; Huawei, Oppo, and vivo (all Chinese) all showed signfiicant growth in the quarter.
Global shipment growth stands at 4.3%, up on 2016 to nearly 347.4 million units.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium launched at MWC 2017 and, quite simply, blew my socks off. I didn’t think Sony had a handset like this in them after years and years of mediocre releases and languishing market share.
I wasn’t expecting much and Sony delivered WAY more than anyone expected. Not only is this handset stunning to behold, but it also features a brilliant camera and a 4K display with HDR.
I think Sony might just have a hit on its hands here, as there appears to be rather a lot of hype and interest around this phone. Way more than usual. Also: the price is decent too €649 – that’s A LOT cheaper than the incoming Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8.
Could 2017 be the year Sony returns to form? The Sony Xperia XZ Premium certainly looks like a handset that could turn things around.
Launched: February 2017 – Pre-Orders Now Open
Nokia!
Nokia is officially back in the phone scene. Nokia, now owned by HMD, returned to the fray at MWC 2016, where it launched a trio of Android-powered smartphones as well as rebooted version of the Nokia 3310.
The Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 are all mid-range handsets, designed for taking control of the lucrative mod-range segment of the mobile space. Priced aggressively and featuring eye-catching designs, the Nokia Android phones are decent and will no doubt make a lot of friends when they get a release later this year.
All eyes are on the Nokia 8, however, which is also known as the Nokia P1. This is Nokia’s flagship handset, the handset that will do battle with Apple’s iPhone 8 and Samsung’s Galaxy S8.
If you're in the US you can now pick up the Nokia 6 for $332 via eBay.
We have a full article on the Nokia 8 already, so if you’re interested in that handset make sure you check that article out, as the handset is shaping up to be quite a beast.
Apple iPhone 8
No phone attracts more attention than a new iPhone, and 2017’s release looks set to be a stunner. Word on the street suggests the iPhone 8 – or whatever it is eventually called – is the handset Jony Ive has always dreamed of making a commercial reality. Expect big design changes, the removal of the Home key, new display tech and BIG improvements in the imaging department.
Apple might be releasing three iPhone 8 models in 2017: the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and a third model known as the iPhone 8 Pro. The latter of which will feature a 5.8in OLED panel and likely no bezel whatsoever.
Rumours suggest a grand redesign that will see Apple do away with the Home key and instead focus on creating an all-screen phone. Whether this design language is featured on all three models remains to be seen; it could well be present on only the iPhone 8 Pro model, which, of course, will be the most expensive and where all the innovation is.
