The final non traditional touch point mock up i have drawn little figures so that it is clearer to see how i vision this all in real life. There is a person or multiple who would stand share more information hand out the posters and also show people what the sculpture is there for. I am aware this isnt practical so on the side of one of the letters additional information would also be placed incase the guide isnt there.

I did mock ups of the posters so you can visualise how it would look in public spaces i can really see here how the use of white is working really well. These mock ups can be used on the webpage so that the audience knows the link between the webpage and what they saw to get there.

Final posters. I am pleased with the outcome of these posters overall. I think I have achieved what i aimed from my own goals within the brief. My only concern with the whole thing is will it be understood how i believe it will? Thats something i no longer have time to explore. The reason I believe my outcome is successful to me is that i have created what i would have liked. I have a reason as to why i have placed everything the way i have . I used my research in a successful way as i used the knowledge i gained from it. Thoughout i have learnt a lot about typography theory aswell. I am pleased as i feel like its a point in my design journey that i have learnt how to pause and get back on track to achieve what i originally intended and not steer away from it.

The first one wasnt legiable enough so i moved it around once i had done this i ended up exporting it so it was ready to be worked on in procreate to add the final touches.

I added the campaign name small in the corner so it would be easily findable

I forgot to add the campaign name this is really important. I realised I think it would be more suitable to make a little mark for the name as it would be more recognisable and also means reading it is a little easier like this.

I added a little QR code which would link to the website where more information can be found. The bottom image is the final poster. From here i will use this style to design the other two and move onto the website and the non traditional touchpoint.

I decided to change the fact into just black and using the illustrations within the word distressed i added a question mark so the reader starts to feel understood by the design aswell as this it helps to make people feel responsible for things as you are being more direct. I really like the look and feel of the poster and the development of how far ive come along with it. I need to add a link to the website and i think ill go back and add some more little touches on procreate so it has a little more emotion to it aswell.

I began to play around with using the design i did as pattern except the facts i was writing where not as legible as i would have hoped i continue to move the placement of things around with the illustrative type being used in the background not just as a colour filler for the typeface i picked. I ended up reconsidering how to do the layout. I really liked the look i had created and how i can manipulate the idea here and make the readers feel how we feel. By not understanding and being distressed.

I made sure to plan what I am trying to write this is so that i stay on track with what i am trying to say to the audience and also so that its clear and consistent with my designs.

I chose Internal hyperactivity as this is something that cant be seen from the outside by other people which is a huge reason as to why you cannot rule out ADHD if a child doesnt outwardly show hyperactivity. I used bold typefaces that is not a regular nor does it have any real system when being drawn theres a lot going on in a small space seeming as though the letters can breathe. The word internal is used and a arrow used to show its in/on the hyperactivity. However for me its not just on it its also outside it. I used lowercase as for my experience i do outwardly show a lot of hyperactivity too. This is just a demonstration on how it is so different for each female. Even though theres a lot of room so the letters dont have to overlap i have placed them so close almost like they are boucing ontop of eachother - this is exaclty how it feels inside the brain of someone with adhd - well at least for me , when i get an idea they just keep coming at a rate i cant even process and become almost unrecognisable as theres no system to document them.
The next one i chose is inattentiveness with these letters quite ironically i have now noticed theres a spelling error. I drew a grid thats very weak and tried to maintain a system while allowing my brain to make careless mistakes. At first i had this in just black but later noticed that i really like how the red can draw out and highlight the details where theres been lack of attention therefore mistakes in the drawing. The letter forms are clearly trying to stick to a rule however really struggling to do so. This makes this sketch quite jarring to look at when you can see the guides in the background. I added little details of lining where i was resizing the page on procreate this really shows where theres no thought into double checking the work this is due to the fact that as someone with adhd this is a really boring task we tend to skip on a lot more than we like to admit. Using a serif like font base here is really crucial to communicate what i want visually as usually these more elegant like typefaces dont tend to be manipulated like this. Showing this is most likly a mistake and not intentional by the designer.
The final thing i chose to really highlight is distress this is definitely a big one for me and a lot of females not only is this a statistic i have got from my research but as-well as this regulating your emotions is very difficult when you have adhd. This is a huge struggle i feel especially as a young female as you are just seen as an emotional girl. We really try to supress this struggle which leads to a lot of other issues when you get home from your workplace or school. This is why parents (the target audience) must be made so aware of this one! The type is just showing frustration and anger that can be built up due to lack of understanding and lack of understanding of our own emotions. With such sudden changes in feelings it can be overwhelming and this is exactly what i show with these letter forms. Changing in the pressure of the pen really shows the fluctuation in moods.
The methods i have chosen to communicate this is really appropriate to the target audience in my opinion as the number one thing all parents have in common is they just want their child to feel like they understand, Parents are trying to understand what their kids are thinking but sometimes lack the knowledge on how to do so. This method of keeping it really stripped back and raw enables parents to feel as though they are being spoken to by their kids so they can help their familys and people close to them by educating themselfs.

I did a quick sketch then straight away realised the type still must have slight meaning or intent behind it - during this drawing i came up with the concept of making the type do exactly what it says. So drawing with an open mind to let my mind do what it wants without then editing it afterwards. Therefore i will choose the main symptoms that differentiate the sex’ and go on from there to make the type feel the way these symtoms to but from my own personal experience.

Looking back on research i noticed it’s really important for me to focus on brining some statistics to the posters to back up what my statements are and so people can recognise the issue

For my digital element i will be linking a webpage that can be accessed from the posters where people can see images of the work that i have created and also read more about adhd in females and how this can be helped .
