Your summer hair regimen should definitely differ with the change of season. Look at nature, when spring and summer comes around everything is glowing, flowers are blooming sun is out and ready to play. Fall and winter comes and leaves starts to change color and eventually the trees are left bald. If you dont want to be bald like the trees you better change your hair routine too lol.
