Hey everyone, my name is Abdelmajed. I don’t usually talk much about myself, but today, I want to share a little piece of my story.

I was born and raised in Gaza, a place that has always been my home 🏡. I grew up surrounded by my family, my friends, and the streets that I knew like the back of my hand. Life wasn’t always easy, but we had love, laughter, and dreams. I used to think that no matter what happened, home would always be here. But life has a way of changing things in ways we never expect.

Over the past months, everything I once knew has disappeared. The streets that were once filled with children playing are now silent. The houses that held so many memories are now just rubble. And the people I loved—some of them are gone forever. 💔

Some of my favorite moments in canon are when we have 𝘯𝘰 ��𝘥𝘦𝘢 what Shinichi is thinking. Because he's the main character, we know his exact thoughts and plans 99% of the time, but he rarely voices any of this out loud to other characters. From an outside character's perspective, Shinichi is incredibly mysterious and even sometimes suspicious, pretty much all the time. You can never truly tell what he's thinking or feeling, because he keeps it hidden away. As the audience, 𝘸𝘦'𝘳𝘦 privy to it however. Which is why I love it when we get a glimpse into what Shinichi is like for literally everyone else.

The specific examples I can think of are desperate revival at the festival, the halloween party and confrontation between Jodie and Vermouth, and just the entirety of the murderer Kudou Shinichi case. These are moments where we 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 to be left out because of mixed up identities, and every time it's like "what in the world is he up to." And I want more of this 𝘴𝘰 𝘣𝘢𝘥!!

This is one of the reasons why fics from solely Kaito's POV (or any other characters) hold such a special place in my heart, even more so when Shinichi is being his usual scheming self. I 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 when I have to question this man's actions and motives. Because that's just how he is for everyone else!!

kakashi as a character is so fucking funny. literally the most extreme version of ‘they should’ve been at the club’ imaginable, only instead of the club it’s usually like. elementary school. that he should’ve been at. the most child soldier out of a cast made basically exclusively out of child soldiers, which is honestly kind of impressive. like this guy had already accomplished more in his career and accumulated a higher kill count than most people could hope to achieve in a lifetime by the age of 17, and then he just kept fucking doing it to the point that the head of Child Soldier Nation had to tell him to take a break already. and then they made him PRESIDENT!!!

We are always talking about Maomao's beauty, which we can assume came from her mother, but we rarely talk about her resemblance to his father, Lakan. The two scary strategists... and both can be rather silly. :'D

maomao when every important figure in the empire keeps asking for her help

i really like how, as part of the apothecary diaries' storytelling and themes, no singular character ever has the whole story. even maomao, despite how smart and good she is at putting pieces together, doesn't always have the whole truth (even tho it's incredibly easy to treat her word as such). they have their experiences, their memories, their speculations, and their limited facts, which are all fragments of this bigger narrative they're in. and it's lovely how there are consequences to not having the fullest information, how even the smallest detail can change an argument entirely. as a viewer, it's fascinating to go back to previous chapters and episodes and to trace those threads across the story, because it feels less like i'm a passive participant and more like i'm part of the experience, actively engaged in figuring stuff out along with maomao ^^
