SHINee - Dazzling Girl

After their big hit Sherlock and what seemed like a million SM Town and SHINee World concerts, SHINee are back with their new Japanese Single "Dazzling Girl." The short version of the song is amazing. It sounds like a song that anyone would get up and dance to thanks to the ai ai ai ais SHINee sing. The the new concept is eye candy for anyone watching and the dance is great overall. Shawols have waited after a CF preview, a teaser and yet only received a short version of the PV. However, this will not stop us from revealing the dirty secrets in this video... 

Rating: so far 7.5/10 dazzling girls, pretty good for a incomplete video.

Exposed: 

1. SM Entertainment; the best recyclers. 

Let's start off with the setting. Okay so the first room is big and white and looks very classy. But where have I seen it before? Oh wait, it's VERY similar to the setting of "All My Love is For You" by SNSD it even has the same windows! Perhaps SHINee is prancing around in a room of the same house? And then you have SM's box but changed to a shiny background. Yay for originality *insert sarcasm here*. But I reckon the use of bland backgrounds is to make the stars shine ^^. 

Now onto the clothes.... From the teaser I already thought their clothes were a bit similar to what TVXQ usually wear. The big fluffy vests with no sleeves to show off their muscles. But then Minho and Onew are wearing skirts which make them look gayer than they already do. Sigh SM you never fail to make them feminine. 

And am I the only one who finds it weird that Key has no jacket while everyone else does? He's usually the stylish one with all the accessories but it looks like he's lacking here. In total too, they only have three outfits. Aren't there usually more in music videos? I reckon the SM artists would rather keep their shares then invest them in music videos but oh well they did a pretty good job anyway :) 

2. Dazzling Girl

If you haven't noticed already, SHINee, in this video, are supposed to be the girls' make over stylists. You have them at the start pondering together what to do with her as she stares into the mirror and then throughout the video they do something with her. Onew is revising her photos, Jonghyun is taking photos, Key is choosing her outfits, Minho is strangely doing her hair and Taemin is doing her makeup. The set of TVs throughout are to represent how make overs are portrayed on reality shows, showing the different aspects of the make over. Sneaky one there SM, good meaning behind it. And good job hiring an actual Japanese girl instead of just a SNSD or F(X) member. 

3. Trippy

This video is really trippy for me. How does one film a video with mirrors everywhere and not have the camera seen in the video at all. The video is really well done. But what confuses me is how are they looking into a mirror but we see no camera? LOL just kidding I know they probably used a green screen or another wall or something but I can't get over how amazing the camera angles are done.

Cunningly Annoying

Besides the obvious advertisements SM are hiding in For You In Full Blossom and creating millions of teasers of songs that wont be released in like forever, SM have tried releasing Japanese song previews in Japanese CFs. When f(x)'s japanese debut was announced, no one would think the first preview would be an advertisement for a resort or beer? I don't know but why wouldn't they just release a proper teaser? Were they lazy? Perhaps. They didn't even bother making a proper teaser. They just gave us the first 1 minute and called it a preview.

And just today there has been news that SHINee's anticipated japanese comeback 'Dazzling Girl' is the background of yet another one! Both their japanese 'Replay' and japanese 'Juliette' had wonderful teasers that made Shawols fall over and flip tables but now the first thing they receive is a small audio snippet in a japanese commercial for...... actually what are they advertising? It's just a chick stabbing herself with an arrow and exploding flowers. Maybe it's just a bit early or maybe it's not, who knows? I don't know about you but i'd much rather prefer having 30 teasers like EXO than none at all.

I don't know about you but I think this is another one of SM's tricks. SHINee is currently endorsing Etude with the slogan 'Wanna Be Sweet? Play Etude'. Coincidence? I think not!

Psy - Gangnam Style

OPPAN FREAKING GANGNAM STYLE. If you haven't heard or seen of this, you have been living a small, sad hole. This MV has gone viral all over the internet! From celebrities like T-Pain, Youtube Stars like Smosh and even on the television, everyone is talking about it! Eat Your Kimchi, a famous kpop critic on Youtube have also claimed the music video to be the absolute best. I agree. The song, the dance and the music video have all come together to create an assault of awesomeness. There's not one day you can't dance that crazy horse dance or sing out "OP OP OP OP OPPAN GANGNAM STYLE!" It's that great even people who don't like kpop love it. I have got to say that Psy oppa is just my style and he even sits on a toilet in this MV LOL.

Rating: 10-elevator-pelvis-thrusters out of 10! 

Exposed: Here are the secrets:

1. The case of benjamin button.   Just going to come off straight about this. That boy at the start of the video is not a mere child but a man trapped in a child's body. He must be growing backwards because there's no way a young boy could look that old and dance that great :////

2. Yuk.  That trash blowing onto the girls and Psy himself is not trash. If anything it's paper and leaves. Both parts of a tree. Therefore nature. Nature is beautiful. And it's much better than those dirty recycled roses that SNSD used in The Boys..... Oh and that white stuff? That's liquified toothpaste. See? Clean. 

3. Awesome-ness  There's only one explanation to the building that he stands in front, the empty parking lot and the elevator. He is merely too awesome that he lives in an empty building. And that elevator guy is a sasaeng fan, so excited that he has to thrust dat pelvis. 

4. Did you notice? Throughout the whole MV...... YOU CANNOT SEE DEM EYES. He's wearing sunglasses the whole time because he is too cool for everyone. 

5. HyunA is great.  This girl has gotten gigs outside of 4Minute and this is another one of them. She even has her own version of this mv but that's a different story......... ANYWAY, GUYS. WHERE ARE HER EYEBROWS? Only one answer to this too, she's too sexy for eyebrows (and she was taken by aliens because they mistook her voice for an alien mating call, who got angry that she wasn't an alien and burned off her eyebrows). Bottom line, she's a trend setter?????

ANDDDDDDD when she was dancing on that pole on the train wae did no one notice??? like what the actual??? If I saw Hyuna practically pole dancing on a public train, I would kidnap do something about it (and perhaps draw on some eyebrows for her)! Not just sit there ignoring that sexy beast with a lack of eyebrows.
