I know some people might have a hard time understanding why I (a traumagenic system that was abused by a fake system) don’t fakeclaim endos. In fact, I think some might even find me stupid for it.

Growing up, my disorders and symptoms were ignored because of my brother having diagnosed autism and his issues taking priority. My parents were so focused on him that when I brought up that I might have autism, it was laughed at. I not only have trauma from it but I have much more severe issues by having my issues invalidated and ignored. Because of a lack of support and treatment, a lot of my issues went unaddressed for years.

I know what it’s like to be laughed at by doctors. I know what it’s like to be ignored. I know what it’s like to have my issues disregarded. I never ever want to cause that for another person. I am willing to be lied to if it means giving someone support when they get none.

I would rather be lied to and betrayed than invalidate, isolate, ignore, and demonise a person that isn’t lying.

Outrage follows after Texas gay campground doubles-down on banning transgender men from property

The Navasota-based, clothing-optional campground sparked condemnation after it publicly stated on Monday that it only allows cisgender men and would not allow trans men to attend upcoming events. That statement, posted on Trans Day of Visibility, claimed the exclusion was about preserving “comfort” and “shared lived experience” among men who were assigned male at birth.

“This campground was created as a haven specifically for men who historically lacked spaces where they could express themselves openly without outside judgment even from within the broader LGBTQ+ community. We’re not anti-trans; we’re just focused on preserving this unique sub cultural dynamic,” the venue posted

The clothing-optional campground’s mission was to “provide a safe, affirming and liberating space exclusively for cisgender men”, and it was “vital for guests to feel completely at ease physically and emotionally,” which included comfort with the “types of bodies, interactions and dynamics present”.

We fit all of the symptoms for DID I think but the only reason I can't say we have/self diagnose with DID is because it's a disorder and the one required symptom to make a disorder a disorder is for the symptoms to cause impairment or distress in some way and honestly I don't think that's the case for us? Like sure the our alters sometimes have mental health problems that cause issues but the actual symptoms like dissociation and memory issues and the mere existence of alters aren't causing any issues for us. The problems are like interpersonal struggles and codependency and exomemories and emotional dysregulation, which can all be singlet issues too, so shrug
