How I imagine Jouji and Shiori's reunion:

Initially lots of anger from Shiori, genuinely pissed, not for the debt, but for the worry he caused her, the nightmares, all the times she woke up in a cold sweat fearing that the worst might have happened to him, before she bursts into tears, hugging her brother like there is no tomorrow.

He will cry too, a lot, from missing his sister, to the relief to know she's still alive (either by the course or a possible confrontation with the manager).

Then, she will grab him by the collar of his shirt, eyes darkening with pure fury, and she whispers, in a cold but neutral tone:

"Now, give me back my money, bitch."

I haven't sketched him a lot (because I'm still not used to drawing animals, but meet Mizu!

That's Shiori and Subaru's equestrian companion in their journey through the four nations.

It was given to them by Junko sensei and is literally holding the adventure on its back.

He's strong, persistent, stubborn and very protective, especially of Shiori.

I initially wanted them to have a flying bison but the idea of a buffalo yak stuck. I thought he could be perfect for the mission. Additionally, I was thinking of Ashitaka and Yakul in Princess Mononoke when I created him, especially when I was drawing this panel.

Additional headcanon, he doesn't like Subaru, like, at all, he barely tolerates her at best. But they have to cooperate, for Shiori's sake.
