I don’t know why my dog lays by me and in a kicking position all the time

Wanted to write a little bit tonight before bed since I feel this misalignment in energy lately. Maybe it’s because I have smoked in months, gotten high from anything or slowed down a lot on drinking to almost the point of stopping. It’s like these natural changes are happening for a reason like how i want to run more or do longer dance sets. Or maybe it’s because I see my families healthy history. I do know it’s also of something deeper that’s having this changes happen slowly and it’s from thinking that it reminds me of times of fucking up.

Im getting to the point of taking my driving test again and everytime I try to sip on a beer, I’m not feeling it or into it. I drink a case of beers and my body just doesn’t want to feel it anymore. It’s odd socially since that’s majority of the people who I hang out with want to do when there is time. I feel like I don’t know what to say when they ask to drink, but being that I am too nice to not say no lately, have to try and pass on the offer.

Maybe it’s a goal starting next year, to just drink up now, tell it how it is with friends and begin 2019 with an old routine when I was living off the island. I do miss that high version of myself and not because of the external looks, but how I felt inside that I was able to make valueable changes. Choices that were in it for the long run and rewarding for a bright future.

As of right now for this Christmas season,

I’m happy I’m noting this down to remind that it’s time for a solid start being in four wheels again, that it’s time to take my drive back in life. I’m truly getting worn down and slightly depressed, yet this litttle spark inside is telling me, “you little bitch, suck it up. You’ve been through so much worse. Don’t stop.”

And this is where my dog kicks me in the gut.

Dulk’s “Legacy” at Thinkspace Projects.

Opening on Saturday, December 1st, 2018 at Thinkspace Projects in Los Angeles, California is artist Dulk’s brilliant solo exhibition, “Legacy.”

Art critic Juan Bautista Peiró describes Dulk’s work as “leav[ing] no room for doubt, and confronts us with a fantastic world where everything flows, changes and transforms in manifold different ways. That being said, the underlying discourse is unified, categorical and self-evident: man is killing Nature and its incredible biodiversity which we ought to love for many reasons but which, nevertheless, we are destroying day by day, step by step. Dulk’s work is an uncompromising exhortation written in images that cry out in silence with the amplified power of 1000 words.”

The exhibition will be on view until December 29th, 2018.

Leaps of faith lately with going within blindly without asking, yet in return, the fortune returns. Why is that when you don’t ask for anything in return, fortune comes back to you? What law of this realm speaks truth in this? This weekend was a blessing because of the experiences happening around me, gigs that I was of service too and times spent well with old friends. As much time spent holding ten pounds of gear with a limp arm in return is what the returns are without asking for anything. If people see you do what love within your expression, your work and your ability to execute, they will return it with resources.

It’s like a diamond in the rough with its origin made from coal, compressed with pressure and time that equals to a solidified jewel. It’s quite wonderlust, truly inspirational but most humbling to share it.
