I get the biggest whiplash ever whenever I remember that on discord X is last place amongst all ROs. Like HUH???? They just feels like the type of character the internet would be all over, so its shocking to see A take the crown. But on As defense they are lovely 🥹

I'm sure there are players that aren't interested in X for different reasons, but I've absolutely noticed a trend where some people have been very weirdly possessive and controlling about X and lost their minds over X's CH10/11 route.

I guess they thought X's habits and core character traits would magically change for their Super Special MC, but the narrative isn't joking around when it tells you over and over that X values their freedom and demands to be treated like an equal. Acting like X owes their MCs their loyalty or fidelty when in the game, the Crown and X are nowhere near a committed relationship--it's honestly a very unhealthy and bizarrely jealous attitude. More than once I've received comments that X is "cheating" on the MC, which is absolutely delusional.

They're also the LI who gives the least amount of shits about how "Special" the Crown is or their title or authority. If anything, the MC being the Crown makes them less trustworthy to X, and that's a hurdle in their relationship. I've seen comments that brush right past the fact that X's distrust stems from, you know, their entire village being wiped out by a past Crown, and just being annoyed that X refuses to bend to the Crown as their ruler, showing pretty much no empathy to X and then getting upset when X reacts badly to that lol

Certain people who expect LIs to become doormats to their MCs just can't handle a bad bitch.

There's a reason why I call CH10 the X Filter 🤷🏽‍♀️
