Our company institute is a politically neutral zone. People from all walks of life are welcome on the premises, so long as they remain civil toward other guests. Has this happened to you?

One thing that always cuts deep is when certain people suddenly start ignoring or avoiding me completely whenever I temporarily fantasia my character to anything other than a male elezen. As soon as I change back, these same people immediately return to being friendly and sociable with me. They may not realize they’re doing it, but I notice. I notice each and every time, and it’s extremely hurtful. I spoke of this issue with another player just the other week, and this kind of thing seems to happen far too often.

I guess I’m tired of getting burned by people who continue to value their race-based MMO fantasies over real friendships. It makes it difficult for me to open up and trust others, and it fills my head with what-ifs I really shouldn’t be stressing over. I can’t help but wonder what my current circle of friends would look like today if I had remained a Lalafell. I think the most upsetting part is deep deep down, I know the answer to that.

To enter the contest by yourself:

Attend the event wearing either black, white, or black & white glamour.

Choose your own dance(s) and hit the dance floor.

Message one of our event staff to let them know you’re entering the contest solo, and which of the 4 categories you’re competing in.

A link to our music stream will be given to guests to tune in, both for the event itself and for our stage performances. Our featured performers will be X-AXIS, R&D, and Artemis Himura. We will be using the /yell channel for these shows.

If you are seeking refreshments, self-serve Hors d'oeuvre catering and non-alcoholic beverages (water, coffee, teas, juices, etc.) will be available at the entrance of the ball room.

Throughout the duration of the event, we will be giving away MogStation codes for pure white and jet black dyes. At the end of the event, winners of the black and white contest will be announced, and gil prizes will be distributed.

In-Depth Profile: Koh Issusha

Appearance

Gender: Female...due to some complications of a trickster voidsent.

Race: Miqo’te, Keeper of the Moon

Height: 5 fulm, 1 ilm.

Eye Color: Heterochromia - right eye is sunset orange, left is cerulean blue.  

Hair Color: Dyed dark blue-grey with brightly colored highlights, though original hair color is charcoal black.

Skin Color: Pale pink.

Fur: Straight, but along the tips of her ears and edge of her tail has a slight fluff.

Scars/Marks: She has several scars on her face, one across the bridge of her nose and a cross on her cheek. Several areas along her back and side, she has faint claw-like scars. Also along her body, she has tattoos - where along her neck they are visible and the right side of her face (which is most often can be mistaken as clan markings), but she keeps most of it hidden under clothing/bandana on her face. Especially on the left side of her face where it seem to bleed into her sclera of her left eye.

- Koh loves to be with animals and can sometime spend more time with them than with people.

- She doesn’t often talk about her Miqo’te family, having to had been banished from her tribe at a young age to fend for herself in the Dravanian wilderness where she had been born. However, she had been adopted by hunters from Tailfeather and grew to be a hunter.

- There are times Koh can be fearless in front of large beasts, eager to tame them.

- While there are numerous creatures under Koh’s care, she has a few under her wing. Notably a juvenile hoarhound, a common wolf, a gagana, and an exotic blue-green zu. Smaller creatures she takes care of personally are tiger and coeurl kittens, wolf pups, hunting hawks and owls, and fox kits.  

- A blue owlet can be found around Koh often. It had with her since her childhood, though it can be mistaken by most as one of the numerous owls she cares for.  

- Koh is sometimes quite timid around strangers until she gets to know them. However, she is patient with others and also has a curious spirit.

- She will take any opportunity she has free time to travel around the world. Currently her favorite spots to visit is the Far-East.

- When it comes to handling the bow and arrows (primitive combat), Koh excels at it. However, when she has any sort of technology or magical equipment, she is clueless on how to use them.

- In addition to her traditional clan markings, she has another tattoo (one that Koh keeps hidden from the public) that snakes up her right arm to her shoulders - to partially over his chest and side of his neck. It used to be simple in design and much smaller on her forearm originally, but over the years it had grown very intricate; seemingly continuing to expand and not made by any hand. She was not born with these marks, but had somehow gotten them when she was a child and has no memory obtaining them. Though it is suspected that it originated from being in contact with a voidsent in the forest of her homeland.

- Koh is originally a man...Koh’ya is what she was called as male, but due to a tricky fox voidsent (separate from the one mentioned above) in her custody it had changed ‘him’ to a her for now.

Ryanti’s a good friend and I’m extremely relieved he’s alive. Please help support a great person if you can!

Hey all. Ryanti here. You may know me! Maybe. I’m up and around Balmung and have been for many years. I’ll make it concise here, but feel free to click above to read a more detailed story. I got into a bad car accident early this month and lost my car (totaled). Insurance only covered liability, so I am without a vehicle and was not reimbursed by my insurance. FYI, I’m okay. Because of the incredibly LUCKY positioning of the accident, I am still alive, and escaped with only minor injuries. I still have no idea how I didn’t end up either in the hospital or dead, but that’s what happened. We’re struggling in finances right now, so I set up a gofundme. Every penny will go towards lessening our financial burden of obtaining a new vehicle by going towards a down payment for another car. I set a goal for $1000 but honestly I could care less about numbers. Anything will help.

EQUINOX : The Golden Menagerie

«NOX» holds residency to a menagerie of living creatures undergoing observation, rehabilitation, and conservation. Our sanctuary hosts endangered species, exotics beasts, unusual hybrids, oddities, augmented creatures and domesticated companions. We still have many more to illustrate and add to our growing collection.
