day 89/100
solid unproductive today, idk what got to me but i was just lazing around without a care in the world 😭 but i'm holding myself accountable, this won't happen again i promise.
i also deleted what little social media i had, like the texting app :D so let's consider it a digital detox for a while at the very least, all i have rn is tumblr and pinterest 😞✊🏻
anyway, here's the to-do for tomorrow:
solve previous year problem sheet on area under the curves
electrochemistry notes rev + problem solving
indefinite integration notes rev + review the types and mech
more problems on current electricity
revisit biomolecules (since it's very theory heavy, i keep forgetting stuff so imma revisit and relearn)
live lecture on definite integration

November 19th, 2024
Today I had to go to the town I went to university in for an appointment and it felt so nostalgic. I miss the freedom of uni days. And I miss university and academic work. Unfortunately, it's much harder than I thought to keep engaging with academic texts once you no longer have to. It was something I loved but due to my workload and personal responsibilities I did not open a scientific paper since my defense. Another thing I have to add to my 'should do' list. Next to trying the yoga videos you recommended.

Love your username! I’m speaking German and English and try to learn Croatian cause my whole family is from Croatia. Any tips? I’m a bit lost cause there are barely any resources
Hello, and thank you ♡ Unfortunately, I can't be of any help here as I haven't quite done any research on it :( I did find a course on Udemy (I learn German on the same site), but I cannot tell if it's useful or not, as I've never taught anything so I don't know if it is useful for non-native speakers. (Also I never was any good at Croatian grammar tbh, and to this day it doesn't make any sense to me)
I guess if I had one tip, it's the one related to gendered nouns. As Croatian also has gendered nouns, I thought I wouldn't be confused by them, but honestly it kind of makes it even harder to learn. I misremember the genders, as they are often different than in Croatian (for example, "der Apfel" is masculine, but in Croatian "jabuka" is a female noun).
I'm sorry I'm not of any help, but if I find any good resources, I will share them on my tumblr!

another round of studying for my math exam📓
everything I knew yesterday seems to have left my brain. Yay. Back to zero I guess. I’m back to solving problems and trying to memorise the procedures🫠besides that my anxiety about buying concert tickets tomorrow is killing me. Add brain fog on top and then you have the mixture for todays study session. Let’s hope tomorrow will be better…
but hey I managed to take a walk with my dog :)🐕
