you've probably answered this already but what is she physically like in person? i think i wouldn't be able to stop staring at her eyes, they are probably even bluer in real life

she is very long and lanky. she’s super thin and really petite. her eyes are aggressively blue, she’s really really engaging and very touchy - she stands close to you and grabs at your hands a lot. i’ve never met someone so attentive when you speak to her. she refuses to break eye contact. when she laughs she laughs with her whole body which is really genuine and something that a lot of people don’t do.

she makes you feel important and special and like you are the only person in the room even when there are 4-5 others there. she refuses to let anything interrupt the conversation - on monday, they asked her four times to pose for the picture and she kept going because we were chatting about something. she responds quickly and never makes you feel rude or uncomfortable, and compensates if she does by accident — also on monday, she was talking to ashley and accidentally turned her back on me and then when i moved around she immediately grabbed my hand and squeezed it because she felt bad.

So, CIWYW just happen to release while I was on my flight to Nevada and I had no signal and I knew that it was going to be exactly like that so I emotionally prepared myself in advance. I got a little confused on the whole time change thing. I was speeding to my ride just getting off the plane and scrambling to get my data back on to listen to the song. I swear to you that the second I heard the song start I was the happiest person in the airport, possibly even the world. My smile was wider than the miles I had just flew. My friends were laughing at me. AND THEN I WAS CRYING IN THE AIRPORT AS QUIETLY AS POSSIBLE. i don't think my friends noticed but still. AND TAYLOR IS GIVING IS NO TIME TO REACT TO ANYTHING, I'M NOT OVER CIWYW AND NOW WE HAVE THE TRACK LIST AND THEN A LIVE PERFORMANCE IN 2 DAYS AND THEN THE RELEASE AND I JUST KNOW SHE IS GOING TO PULL SOME SNEAKY SWIFT AND DO SOMETHING TOMORROW. MY HEART CAN ONLY HANDLE SO MUCH, QUEEN.

I realized something amazing

So earlier today I was listening to Taylor’s entire discography as I do every time she releases something new and I realized something. Her songs “Mine” and “Stay Stay Stay” both have a line that stuck out to me. In Mine she says “you learn my secrets and you figure out why I’m guarded” and in Stay Stay Stay she says “you took the time to memorize me, my fears, my hopes, and my dreams.” I realized that both of these songs were about fantasies of true love, and as I realized this it occurred to me that Taylor’s truest fantasy of love is just someone who really knows her, understands her, and cares about all the little details about her. I then realized that that probably means that she’s never had that. All these people that she’s dated and loved so deeply, didn’t really truly care about her in the way she cares about them. Even in Never Grow Up when she says “memorize what it sounds like when your dad comes home and all the words to your little brothers favorite song,” you can tell that she’s a person that truly cares about every detail of someone she loves. In fact, she’s proven it with us fans, the things she takes the time to know and remember and think about for us. And it broke my heart when I realized this, that she hasn’t had that kind of love, the kind she truly deserves.

And then tonight, she sings the line “but cause he really knows me, which is more than they can say.” I am so moved by this, that after all this time she finally, finally, finally found someone worth while. She found someone who knows how she takes her coffee, what it sounds like when she’s trying to keep talking as she falls asleep, her favorite food when she’s sad, and probably a million other little details that I can’t even give examples of. I am so beyond happy for her, that she found him, that he loves her as deeply as she deserves, and that he’s not going to let her go. This is beautiful and I wish them all the happiness in the world in their futures. Congratulations, Taylor, you really deserve him. ❤️
