Looked up quicker than I expected...? Did that girl just stare at A-ya because she wanted a reaction, or...? Oh well, anyways. It’s not like he can say something bad about it, since he’s the one who is always curious about people’s behavior and reactions. But you know, that wasn’t funny, since it messed with A-ya’s worst ‘weakness’, those shivers...
“Just what were you trying to do...” He whispered, trying to make it unhearable, like letting a thought slip off his mouth. Saying that and then ignoring it because of the girls question, he held back a chuckle, because he didn’t even know what the movie talked about yet. “I actually don’t...I just picked up a random movie to watch.” A sigh. “All because of the boredom.” “Do you know what it talks about?” He asked the girl, he was going to see what the movie talked about soon as the movie started, probably. But he doesn’t mind that. If the girl wanted, she could tell him even the end of the movie and he wouldn’t mind it. Maybe it was something interesting and it would give him motivation to pay attention to the movie? Who knows.
To the uninteresting movies! | A-ya & Konata
She blinked, and smiled a little bit when the boy looked up and around. He had looked up quicker than she had expected. Guess he’s got a good sense of when people are lookin’ at him after all. Maybe he’s one of those people who pretends to look at his phone, like I was a couple minutes ago.
“Ya looked up quicker than I expected.” She said shamelessly as if an answer to the look on his face, not even pretending that she was doing something else or looking away. She stopped smiling for a moment however and stared at the boy a couple seconds more, and then filled in the space a couple seats between them to only one by moving to the one that was just next to him- she didn’t want to feel like she was shouting across the row or something, but didn’t want to get too close to freak him out, either. Well, at least not freak him out more at least.
She leaned over and then half whispered, “So uh, yeah….hey….do you know what movie this is?” She asked him.

Huh, seemed like the little one was in a hurry...oh well, anyways. What mattered now was how he was going to tell his lie. Planning that after already starting a conversation wasn’t hard for A-ya, he was used to do that anyways. He was used to see people falling into his just planned rumors. He hoped it would work this time.
“Yeah, no harm done, it’s alright. Um...I didn’t really need anything, but can I ask you a question?” He looked to the boy, forming a false worried expression on his face, it wasn’t easily noticeable, though...but it’s also not impossible to notice it. “People have been talking about some kind of shadow...it’s kind of creepy, because they aren’t normal shadows, you know? I can try to explain it better if you want.” Uh-huh, maybe a rumor about some shadows that when you step on them, they could make you feel bad or...kill you. Would that be too exaggerated? Nah, A-ya created things worse than that. He...saw things worse than that, so something like that was pretty fine. Now he’d just wait for the boy to say that he hasn’t heard anything about this, and maybe ask for more information. If the boy bite the bait, it will be fun.
Not the shadows you’re thinking about | A-ya & Ken
Ken’s attention had been on heading to work on time to feed the office mascot (and also help out as was his job!) - so as such, the brown-haired boy had been in a bit of a rush and hadn’t seen the black-haired stranger head for him until it was too late. With a small thud, his focus was instantly shifted to his surroundings: he didn’t expect anyone else to be up this early? Maybe this adult had been off to work early, too.
Though, the apology he received from the adult…something about it just seemed strange. Similar to how the adults who claimed his mother’s death so long ago to be ‘just an accident’ in tone. Hmm. A lot of adults here had proven that not all adults were liars, true: but given his past, and the fact an untrustworthy adult had used a very similar tone to this stranger…
The boy didn’t make it obvious about his mild suspicion, though. Not yet. “Mm…it wasn’t a really bad bump, so I’m alright. You seem okay too, mister…no harm done, which is a relief. I should’a been watching where I was going, though. Sorry. …Did you need something?”
If this here wasn’t an honest adult…why was he approaching a ‘younger person’ such as himself like this? Ken felt that as a member of the Toshi Defense Force, he should know, so he’d ‘play dumb’ (even if he hated doing this) until he learnt of the reason why.

Was it too hard to find something interesting on his phone? Hell, A-ya could be sure he had more luck searching for stuff when he was bored. If he wasn't finding anything interesting, he would just write stuff until the movie starts.
At least...he was planning to do that. His attention on the phone was broken by a thing that used to happen to him in the past. A shiver. But he recognized the shiver pretty well- the shiver meaning that someone was staring at him. Why did that happen again? He was glad he got rid of that, and it happened again...well, maybe it happened just this time and won't happen again, hopefully.
Now, he looked around to see if there was no one staring at him at all- like it used to happen, or if there really was someone. And...oh, there it is. There she is. It's that girl...did A-ya caught her attention? Woah, if someone got their attention caught by him, that would be pretty...weird, since he is that guy who doesn't get noticed by anyone. Oh well, it happens, maybe.
He stared at her, and tilted his head a bit, the expression on his face turning into something like 'Do you want something?' He wondered if she was just one of those people who just stare at you without reason, but he would rather that the person had something to say than just staying quiet.
To the uninteresting movies! | A-ya & Konata
Konata blinked at her phone for a minute, staring at it blankly, pressing some buttons. She clicked on “contacts” to see the few friends she had back from high school and her dad. Oh yeah, I don’t use this thing. I don’t even know why I brought it. She thought to herself, as if she had completely forgotten- which she honestly kinda did. She stared at it for a couple seconds more then looked back up at the screen. She didn’t even know if the movie was close to starting. The lights were still on and the screen was black, meaning those pre-previews hadn’t even started yet. She looked around. The theater wasn’t super crowded, but not super empty either. Her eyes blinked to the boy sitting in her row- he seemed to be the only other one in that row, and likely one of the few that would be, considering she had picked one of those weird closer to the front seats. The boy’s eyes were fixed on his phone. She blinked for a moment. I wonder if he’s one of those people that won’t notice if someone is just staring at him or not or gets hit by a car because he’s too busy looking at his phone.
And as if to test that theory, she continued to stare over at him with a relatively blank expression on her face. Wonder if he’ll notice before the movie starts or if he already noticed but isn’t gonna say anything.. She thought to herself.

Hello again, rumor target! | A-ya & B-ko
While going back home from school, he suddenly started to think about something that, honestly, he didn't really think about before. It's funny, because one of the first things that he should have remembered about when coming back to this city was...the fact that his friends were also living here.
He was back living at the Villa, yet he hasn't seen any of the three that should be living with him. Maybe their schedules never let they meet with each other? Oh well. Did they know that A-ya was back? Better...are they still living on the city? Oh, that was probably right, since when he entered the mansion it seemed like someone was still living there.
It would be cool if his friends were still living at Toshi...A-ya certainly wouldn't be the one to say that, at least not out loud. It's better to have someone you already know than having to socialize with new people. And also, he had a good time with them, like the day they got this mansion...it was pretty fun. And also interesting.
"Aah, I'm going to buy something to eat before going..." A-ya whispered to himself, after having his thoughts interrupted by a hrowl from his stomach. You forgot to eat again, A-ya. Good job
He speeded up his steps, since he knew a good place he could buy a snack, but at this hour there should be a lot of students going there, so he hoped he was one of the first ones to arrive on the place, so he could go home already.
Maybe he would get there faster if his attention hadn't been caught by someone who had just walked by. That hair...better, that ribbon...maybe...?
"B-ko?" He asked the girl, not really sure if it was her.

To the uninteresting movies! | A-ya & Konata
When was the last time A-ya went to the movies? Better question, when was the last time he went to the movies not to watch a movie about his interests? He doesn't even remember. Now he is just going to watch a random movie to see if he can laugh at how stupid that movie is. Or maybe he could get some interest by picking a random movie? Who knows.
Waiting in the line to buy the ticket, he overheard the name of the movie that the blue-haired girl in front of him was going to watch. He decided to buy a ticket for that one, too. Why not?
Then, he bought some snacks and headed to the movie theater. He sat on a random chair close to the exit and, while the movie didn't start, he turned his phone on. He also noticed that the blue-haired girl was nearby him, but he shrugged it off and focused his attention to the phone on his hands.

Not short but also not tall | A-ya & Io
The library. A-ya swore to himself that he wouldn't go there until he knew the library received new books about the occult, but unfortunately school made him go there search for a book that will be needed for an essay. He needed to choose a mythology to talk about and then waste his time writing a stupid text. Lame, right?
And there he was. The library was more peaceful than the other times he went there. It was good, at least.
Hoping to find an interesting book, he went to the session where history books could be found.
'Mythology, mythology...' A-ya thought while his red eyes were carefully analyzing the books in front of him. There was nothing that he wanted or needed.
Then, he just looked up. There it was, something interesting for his needs. A book about greece, of course there would be something about its mythology written on that book, right?
"Finally..!"
The problem was that...A-ya couldn't reach the book. He wasn't short, but he still couldn't reach that god damn book. What a shame...
"Ugh...isn't there a chair here...?" He asked himself, giving a long sigh that could be translated as 'I want to go home already.'

Not the shadows you’re thinking about | A-ya & Ken
Hobbies. A thing that A-ya would never forget about. He just came back to the city, and coming back felt like a good choice, since he enjoyed the city pretty much. And since it's like that, a city where he enjoys living in, he felt the need to add some fun to his life, along with the good feeling of living there. And that would be by doing what he always liked to do, a thing that after a while, everyone would think it's already boring...and kind of cruel, depending on what it's based on. And that is... rumors.
Spreading rumors. Does A-ya get tired of that? Of course not. But people do, and A-ya still doesn't care if they get tired or not. It's not even needed to talk about how much A-ya liked to do that- just looking at his face while he does so tells everything- only if he can't hold back while telling a rumor, because acting is neccessary, right?
Walking around, searching for a target. Who would it be this time? Who would be the one that will have to listen to a lie? We will see. Time to see who's passing by...
Oh, a kid. A-ya remembered one time that he told a rumor to a kid and they ended up crying. That's a normal reaction, he would say. This time he didn't really care if the kid would cry or not, he just likes to believe that kids usually repeat everything they hear, especially if they are stories.
He walked towards the boy, and, on purpose, bumped on him. After that, he would begin with his lies. He hoped so, at least.
"Ah, I'm sorry, are you alright?" He asked, as if he really cared. Bahahaha.

A-ya was just going to start talking to the other when in the exact moment he would do so, Tiz started to talk a lot again. Huh, so what A-ya was thinking it would happen, happened, unfortunately.
"Yeah...A-ya is my real name, and....It's a japanese name, I guess..." While answering, his head was spinning with all those questions Tiz was making. Hell, how would you get lost and enter right in an abandoned mansion...he could get lost somewhere else, but it had to be right in the place where A-ya went to. Anyone would like a boy like Tiz around them, A-ya thought, but he wondered how. Ah, he was used to this anyways, he couldn't really complain.
"Could you be quiet for a moment?" A sigh. "You don't need to worry that much, I'm just checking if there's something interesting here. If a 'spirit' pops up, I don't know about you, but I will be alright. Since this is something of my interest." He replied, in an annoyed voice. Bad A-ya, bad...
So Tiz was the one kind of person who gets easilly scared, huh? May A-ya take advantage of that at one point, may he scare Tiz just like he did once with B-ko. He did not care about what Tiz would feel in that moment, but he would do so for his reaction. Ah, it would be so funny. A-ya wasn't enjoying Tiz's(?) fear right now because he was actually talking a lot, but if he weren't...he would even let out a chuckle.
"...You're not the one to come to a place like this, huh..."
You can't live without your hobby | A-ya & Tiz
Tiz listened intently to the other’s introduction despite its short length, and smiled broadly as he finished the tiny sentence. Sure, he didn’t get to learn much about the other, but he sure will as they spend time together, because that’s how people get to know each other, right?
Right after the words had left the other’s lips, he began walking in a random direction. Tiz, who was slightly confused and caught off guard, not having expecting A-ya to go exploring so soon without warning, the boy tripped on his own two feet but caught himself before his body could reach the floor below, attempting to catch up with the other.
As they walked to nowhere in particular inside the mansion (which Tiz still found creepy, scary, and other adjectives of the like), the teen finally caught up with the black-haired boy and was about to start idle conversation, but remembered the other had asked that he remain quiet. Still, there was something he was a bit curious about the other he just had to ask him of right now, plus a few other things concerning him.
“So, A-ya? That’s your name? That sounds so cool! Is that a nickname or your real, legitimate birth name that you were given when you were born? Is that a Japanese name?” the brunet bombarded his new acquaintance with numerous questions regarding his name—or alias, Tiz wasn’t sure yet. It was just so unique and original!
“Also, what are we on the hunt for? Are we just going to go adventuring and check out what cool and spooky stuff might be lying around here, or are we looking for somethin’ specific? Ghosts aren’t going to pop up randomly, right? Should I have brought something for self defense? I’m getting kind of scared again, actually….hahaha…!”

Age isn't a problem...is it? | A-ya & Cherryblod
It was an ordinary day, 'like always' in A-ya's point of vision. He had just met the person who called him a while ago to hang out.
Rare was A-ya to call someone to hang out, even his childhood friend C-ta, and rare was him to be called to hang out. Even more rare to be called by someone who is...he doesn't know how to explain. He's ages older than A-ya, that wouldn't be a bother but it gives a...strange feeling. But anyways. Boredom was drowning A-ya again and that's not big news, so why not giving a try to hang out...
"So...Ice cream parlor, was it...?" He asked, staring at the man in front of him. A-ya didn't know why Cherryblod had called him to go there and did not really want to know why. It was kinda funny though- That was unexpected...but no problem at all.

He ignored the fact that the other was increasing his voice tone while talking and waited for him to finish his sentence. Woah, the boy really did look excited while introducing himself. In A-ya's case, it would be something no fun, no one would get information of who is A-ya.
"...I'm A-ya. There's nothing much to know about me...uh...I came from Japan and...that's it?" To know more about A-ya, time spent with him is needed. He thought that himself, of course he knows his own personality, so he could affirm that. Maybe even the little time that he would 'spent' with Tiz could make him learn something about A-ya. It's hard to be honest, but it's like a puzzle, or alike one. You get the pieces all together, one by one and done.
A-ya started walking, hoping Tiz would just follow him. A-ya wasn't good with bringing topics to talk about, so he was just going to take chance and talk about his hobby for a bit while they were in an appropriate place to do so.
You can't live without your hobby | A-ya & Tiz
Tiz let out the breath he’d been holding that he didn’t even realize he had been keeping upon hearing the other agree to his terms. It was a relief to him knowing that he wouldn’t be alone. Sure, he could just walk right out of the house, but he was scared considering the fact that it was late out and bad things always happened when the moon claimed its spot on the black of night above—even in a spectacular and perfectly safe, crime-free city such as Toshi, accidents could still happen considering the lack of light! And he did not want another one of those. A shiver ran down his spine as memories flooded into his head. He shook them away. Another, more important reason he didn’t want to just up and leave was because he might anger the spirits that rested here! That wouldn’t do anyone any good at all!
He looked at the other and smiled, grateful for the boy for not deciding to abandon him when they both were fully aware he was not obliged or required to accompany the brunet. Tiz visibly relaxed even more. “Thank you so much! Well, since we’ll be spending our time together from here on out until whenever, I suppose we should introduce ourselves! My name is Tiz Arrior, and I recently moved here about almost two weeks ago from the sleepy town—which you could almost consider a village—of Norende in the European country of Caldisla! Wow, that was a long introduction. I sounded like some fancy noble, haha! What’s your-” He interrupted himself, realizing his volume was only increasing as he continued to talk—a habit he had. The student’s voice dropped a couple decibels before repeating his last sentence again from the beginning. “What’s your name?”

Fluffy ball rumor | A-ya & Mary
Looking for rumor materials. Yeah. A-ya wasn't really sure if 'hard' would be in his vocabulary in the moment that he would search for materials. Toshi isn't a place where things are hard to make into a rumor, and A-ya was glad for it. Well...not really, since that the different things that the city does have, might be normal for all the people who live here. So it wouldn't be something surprising...maybe. Just maybe.
But A-ya didn't want to think like that. Making rumors was one of his speciality, so exploring new materials would give light to his mind to create things that he never had opportunity for. And that made him excited and motivated to stay searching for something for hours and hours, if it was needed.
...It wouldn't be needed, though. Easy was to find something acceptable to find a rumor, A-ya thought at first. And easy it was- he didn't have to walk that much to find something interesting. It was...a fluffy ball. He didn't know what was it...could it be a walking fluffy ball or something?
Walking closer, taking care to not seem so suspicious, he stared at it. Or better...he stared at her. It was a girl. It didn't seem like so, though. And that was honestly surprising.
"...Found something interesting here..." A-ya said as he stares at the girl as he think of a rumor about it.

Occult pals | A-ya & A-no
For that he wasn't expecting. In the same apartment that he lived in for a while, in a different room was a girl who could get curious at the things that A-ya loved. A-ya can remember her at least, from the moment when he got his hedgehog, the girl who wanted to pet Yui and stuff. At first he wouldn't say that the girl liked or would get interested in those kind of things, since she fawned over his hedgehog and seemed like those girls who just fawned over everything that was cute...
But anyways. Luck got stuck on A-ya and that was the time to get the chance to do something fun. Fun for A-ya wasn't something which everyone thinks it is for A-ya. For him, it's different. Doing scary rituals that could take your life always? Fun. Summoning a spirit? Fun. That's A-ya's sense of fun, everyone.
He stared at the girl, a small curve in the corner of his mouth.
"Really didn't expect curiosity on these things coming from you..." He gave a pause. "What'd get you curious into these things?"
#anohigeki#I HOPE IT'S GOOD FOR YOU WEEPS..#and omg i just want to see them going to a haunted house already ;v;

So the other boy was lost, huh...but why didn't he leave the place when he had notices this mansion was abandoned? Question that could be easily answered, if the person was smart enough to notice that.
He was listening to the boy speak, holding a chuckle when the biy said 'It’s so scary in here! You feel it too, don’t you?'. This mansion, at least for A-ya, wasn't all that scary at all, but it was enough for him to at least create some interest to go there. Even so, he liked the place. But he wasn't expecting to meet a boy like this, honestly...
"I don't feel scared...I'm used to visit places like this, I like these places, even." And it was kind of amusing to see the other scared...though he wasn't going to say this directly. He also wasn't going to say that the boy was...noisy, or something like that. A happy look, excited voice tone...A-ya wondered how people could be like that. It was kind of...disgusting...
But anyways, time to ignore those thoughts for now. The other boy came with an idea that made those thoughts disappear like it wasn't even A-ya's choice to think about something else, and that idea covered A-ya's mind with annoyance. Why would he have a boy with him when he was just searching for things that are part of his hobby...A-ya remembers dealing with a classmate of his, when he was living in his hometown. That boy annoyed him a lot, honestly. But seems like people like that will appear anywhere, huh...
A-ya looked away, giving a sigh that was like an arrow being shot in the other boy's forehead with a paper written 'no, leave me alone'. Well...
"....Okay, okay... But please, don't be noisy..."
You can't live without your hobby | A-ya & Tiz
Tiz began to radiate his usual aura of positivity and cheerfulness when he had heard the other’s sentence, completely oblivious to the fact that the stranger’s voice was practically drenched heavily in sarcasm, returning the boy’s icy glare with a smile that shined, although it was of course still not enough to melt the other’s cold expression. “So you’re not mad that I mistook you for a ghost? Ahh, that’s great!” said the male with a sigh of relief. He hated hurting other people’s feelings—even those of a stranger’s. Although his happy-go-lucky personality prevented him from noticing the way in which the unknown teenager before him spoke his biting words, he did notice the mostly blank but still sour look on his face, however. “Huh, you say it’s a great thing to hear but you’re not looking too well!”
The brunette simply shrugged the thought off, though, simply not pressing onto the subject any further, and instead answered the stranger’s question he has inquired earlier, even if it sounded like one of those comebacks kids would throw at each other—the ones that basically grab hold of the question just given to them, slamming it back in the other’s face with emphasis on the “you”. “Ehh, what am I doing here? Well, I got a bit lost, but my apartment doesn’t happen to be close by, I think, and even if it was, with my sense of direction and the fact that it’s getting dark, I’d just end up walking until the sun rises back up again, aha!” Sure, the logical answer would be to rent a taxi but he had his reasons. He’d rather walk two days straight until he gets home, honestly. Continuing on, Tiz then added, “I saw this building and decided to see if the owners of the house would let me borrow a bike or camp here for the night, but I soon realized that no one actually owns this mansion. I’m not surprised why, though… It’s so scary in here! You feel it too, don’t you? That certain aura that I just can’t use words to describe… I feel like I’m trapped in a horror movie.”
Although his eyebrows had been furrowed together and his lips were in a trembling at the thought of the place he had no got himself in, a light bulb suddenly lit above his head and his default expression once again graced his face. Tiz turned to the stranger and suggested something that he oh so hoped the other boy would go through with. “Hey, I have an idea! Or more like I’m asking you for a favor, since you probably won’t like this idea but I’d so love it if you would please go through with it for me! Can I please uh… hang around you? So I’m not alone? Wow, that makes me really sound like a little kid, but I’m just so scared, y’see! Okay, that made me sound like even more of a little kid. Ahh but you get the point. Please?”
