I don’t know why I’m so passionate about fandom and the people who contribute to it. Writers who put so much of themselves on display in their work. Fan artists who work so hard to create and learn and continue creating. The fans who spend hours thinking about canon and the minute details, the ones who write the most beautiful character analysis that it’s almost a love letter to the character themself. Fans who give so much and place so much of their hearts out there. From the people who write, to those who create, to those who make podfics, to those who ask and request, to those who leave loving comments on a work, to those who simply lurk- It is genuinely the most beautiful thing I could ever be a part of, participate in, and find in my time on the internet. I wish I could give more than a comment, more than my own little works, more than attention. I wish I could give pieces of my heart to every one of them. Just so every person in fandom knows just how much I love them for simply choosing to play with and consume media with even a modicum of passion. How could anyone look at all the love placed into fandom and call it anything less than art?

My friend, I could not have said this any better myself. I love seeing all the passion and creativity and love that inspires individuals to do their craft and to put it out into the world. I will never not be amazed by it, and I think every single person who is in any way involved is incredible, from lurking to writing to reading to drawing to painting to podcasting to existing and loving the content itself. Every person's love and passion is welcomed. ❤️❤️❤️

I love that Trigun is never about Vash becoming someone or being proven wrong on his beliefs and changing them. like, from the beginning, he already knows who he wants to be, people try to convince him not to be that person, try to show him he's wrong about humanity, about the world and how to live in it, but the thing is, Vash already knows those things, and he decided who he's going to be knowing those things, he's not naive, nor is he finding out who he is, he already knows, his journey is about standing his ground on what he believes and having people stick around not because they understand him, but because they care about him and want his beliefs to survive and be proven right somehow, in other words, they want Vash to prove them wrong, because the way Vash sees the world is way better than the way they see it

oh no, this part is rlly even better in the manga, you guys were right.

their smiles! its so good.

it was interesting in the og anime they changed it to wolfwood offering the kids some of his last food, but in this version it’s money, and vash is even almost saying he shouldn’t share the last of it with them (it’s rlly interesting in comparison to his other ideologies, and where they begin and stop.

and in a way i love that even after 100+ years on that planet vash still can see something that catches him off guard and learns something new about how others think and what they do for others like that.)

and just a beautiful example of what wolfwood does for the kids.

i like that even in stampede they added that bit with zazie, its that important characteristic for wolfwood, especially if stampede is kind of something new, so stampede!wolfwood is not like his manga counterpart.. yet?, but even just this part is something so him!

and then ofc the smile!! so pretty

(im losing it over this way they drew wolfwood tho, his poor back lol)

and then vash invites him to eat, as his treat bc of the money ;-; ♥

and in some way, there’s few that could be of the more sincere ones we got from stampede!vash directed at wolfwood too

(i wonder if in s2 wolfwood will be the one to call him out on fake smiles, just bc he sees these ones in s1.)

its always great how one of them focuses on the eyes - can be a good judge of character from seeing that and their intent/honesty there, and the other can tell forced and fake smiles from real ones and isn’t afraid to call him out on it. both cases within the first few hours of meeting each other.

Just a comic about Rem Saverem.

Nai loved his mother, he truly did. If not, why would he grace her mercy to escape the ship with them? Why wouldn't he kill her himself, and instead left fate to decide upon her demise?

He loathed the Rem he sees in Luida, the Rem he sees in Meryl, the Rem he sees in Vash; he hates the 'Rem' that was crafted in his mind over the years, haunting him wherever he go. But would he hate the actual Rem had he seen her again?

Nai loved her just as much as he hates her, and he hates that he loved her, just as much as he hates the humanity both his loved ones had chosen over him.
