a detail that breaks my heart is Will Graham is sitting exactly in the same place where he was laying in "Mizumono"
and the crack in the wall tells us a story - it is a symbol of what happened to Will, how he feels
so beautiful, so tragical

"hannibal HATES wills plaids" "hannibal would never let will wear plaid after the fall" hannibal gently dressed will in his softest plaid shirt and tucked him into bed before turning himself in to the fbi when will awoke and rejected him. i dont think he gives a fuck to be honest

I think that we as a fandom focus too much on Will remembering those words Hannibal said to him:
But sleep on those:
Between Savoureux and Yakimono passed at most two months, and Will was in the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane at that time, so the fact that he remembers those words seems to me to nothing compared to the second ones.
Hannibal said these words to Will while they were eating ortolans together in Ko no mono. Will repeated them to Dolarhyde in The Wrath of the Lamb, a good four years later - after surviving the bloodbath in Hannibal's kitchen, the journey through Europe, Hannibal's trial, his relationship with Molly, and being a stepdad.
Will remembered them. They were so important that he even had to emphasize that those words were said to him.

Once again thinking about the power of Will Graham to turn Hannibal Fuckin' Lecter into the POV character for the audience because you'll see this beautiful man with his frizzy curls and his big wet blue eyes just quivering with shame and horror at himself whispering brokenly, "I liked killing" and you'll be like "BABYGIRL. You should never feel bad about yourself you are so pretty you kill as many people as you want." and then eventually you'll see him lift his head and his eyes will be as clear and sharp as a polished blade beneath the sun and he will radiate power and he will not be ashamed anymore and this is his becoming and you will be like "BABYGIRL. YES. KILL PEOPLE. You are so pretty when you bare your blood-covered teeth in the moonlight and admit it's beautiful." and oh whoops haha now you're Hannibal.

i think it’s so beautiful how hannibal and will are both simultaneously each other’s god and follower. how they are both each other’s saviour and destroyer. how they changed each other so much and yet made each other become closer to what they’ve always been. they are each other’s anchor and storm at the same time. they are literally each other’s everything.
