Veeeeeeery rough soriku WIP sketch. I got inspired by the new Utada lyrics for Chikai; specifically the line “Lay your heartbeat on top of mine.”

I actually have two illustrations sketched out, and I’m hoping to clean them up into proper illustrations next week after I finish up some zine stuff.

Things to come

I keep forgetting to post stuff on here, augh. Been pretty busy with my senior project work, as well as work-work, and then, of course, the negaflu, which had me ill and in bed for about three weeks. Ughghh Anyway, I'm more or less back in business, which means I'm hoping to get some more art and writing up and posted here, as well as in my writing blog.

My first priority is to find a fulltime job or at least some more paying part-time work. When I'm not working, though, I've got a bunch of different projects lined up that I'm pretty excited about.

Here's a brief look at what' I'll be working on, writing-wise:

A new illustrated short story called The Gingerbread Princess

A new illustrated short story calledLittle Red Cap

A short story calledSpirit Dreams Inside(working title)

A game review of Assassin's Creed 3 (on the writing blog)

A fanfic to help fix the travesty that was the rather OOC ending of AC3

Art-wise, there are some tutorials I'm going to be working through, so I'll post those exercises here. I've also got a few projects lined up:

I'll add and take away from the list as it changes, because things always change as Life happens. In the meantime, I'm off to work!

Feel bad that I don’t have anything exciting to post since I’m trying to be a good person and get through my various obligations and schoolwork and NOT think about Avengers or fanart of any kind.

So, to tide you over for a bit, have some pics of one of my favorite dolls I’ve made to date (since I haven’t had time to finish Loki yet). For those who don’t recognize him, this is Alucard from Castlevania. He stands about 20 some inches high, has fun materials like leather, microsuede, and metallic grommets. He took many, many, many hours to complete. However, I love crafting things like this, so he was a labor of love. He was also a commission piece, which is even nicer! :)

Too bad I can't really include dolls in my portfolio... ah well.
