HYPERFIXATION COMBINATION!!

so, if it's not obvious, my most recent hyperfixation has been Joll and Conk! So,i had the WONDERFUL idea to mix my oldest hyperfixation (corruption mod fnf) with my newest one!! LETS GO CORRUPTION JOLL AND CONK AU!!!

If you're not in the Joll and Conk discord server, you've probably seen these already (well not the last one but whatever.) but i realized i havent shared this with my tumblr fam yet!

uh warnings for blood, amputation,and cannibalism(?? it's conk eating spark so.. maybe??)

working on the tower legends next! Hoping i DON'T get side tracked again (fun fact, every piece w spark took me at LEAST 2 hours. guess who the fav character is guys /sar)

Fun Story to Share.

I got my (now 18-year-old) daughter into Ao3 back in 2021. I taught her she should always comment - even if the fic looks old or abandoned or whatever. She did.

Well - she got this email this morning:

The fic was written in 2014 and essentially abandoned.

Bethy read and reviewed in 2021 (and was actually the only person who had commented at all).

Today in 2025 - the final chapter was posted by the author and this was her reply to Bethy’s comment.

BTW i see these posts all the time like "ohhh i dont know what to comment on fics.." and every response is "keysmashes! or hearts!! anything works :3" and thats GREAT!! thats helpful!!

but: consider. if u genuinely like analyzing writing.. do u know ur just allowed to go through and quote your favorite parts and ramble abt what they mean to u and the author will LOSE IT WITH HYPE?

genuinely. i felt SO WEIRD the first time i did it.. but like. holy shit authors love it. its crack for authors. the first time i did it, it was on a fic that hadnt updated in half a year, give or take, and the author made 3 updates that month BECAUSE OF MY COMMENT.

LIKE. as an author every comment is INCREDIBLE!!! but also, dont feel like your comment has to be short or otherwise ur invasive or smth!! authors ADORE long comments more than ANYTHING.

i made this as smth silly i was drawing at a party and it's been stuck in my head for the past week... after finishing finals, moving out from college, and battling with burnout i really wanted to get this done. bc i want to draw smth gay, note that i'm alive and well, do smth i've never done before.

may make a second part for funnies that i got planned as a continuation, but for now im going to play spyro: reignited trilogy and eat 4 sandwiches until my burnout is gone. be back soon, this is not the end istfg they're rotting my brain and i have so many things i wanna do.
