from is genuinely so good. a slow burn, sneaking horror where a congregation of monsters gather at your front door after dark and invite you politely to let them inside. it is creeping and strange and the most frightful of faces of all is the one with the biggest smile.
it is about an community that is haunted without the memory as to why it is haunted. somewhere along the way a line has been crossed, that much is clear, but which line, and why has this transgression created a town where people cannot leave and the monsters which stroll as languid as they like through its empty streets at night?
and despite some of the loudest voices saying otherwise, from is giving us answers, and these answers are just as strange as i had hoped. i am delighted.

can we all agree that it's pathetic when so-called "friends" try to sabotage your opportunities? you're clearly jealous that the amulet of eternal darkness chose me and no amount of "please fight it, i know you're still in there somewhere" is going to change that. crab bucket mentality. grow up.

gay tim from camera shows up for 0.2 seconds, smiles like the sun itself, makes dale want to kill himself even more, then disappears. we must live on these crumbs as we would not survive more
