God I'm a sucker for characters who are so utterly loyal to someone that they're completely unhinged. Characters who have no moral compass except their overwhelming devotion to whoever they've chosen to listen to. That's the good shit

hot take but i actively miss when tv shows were like 20 episodes a season. slow down. let me get to know the characters. let them do something dumb and not consequential to the plot for one fucking second i'm begging you.

Honestly aging Tumblr demographic blah blah blah yadda yadda but goddamn I love stories about Adults. I haven’t been 15 in a decade I simply cannae care about coming of age stories. In fact I think stories specifically about exploring and understand one’s self are significantly more interesting when they’re about people in their 30s or 40s or 80s tbh. Love it when protags aren’t in fucking high school actually

people have the audacity to equate vanilla with “plain”. the fruit of a delicate orchid pollinated by hand. worth its weight in solid gold and beyond. the fussy black-and-cream jewel of the american continent. you sick son of a bitch. imagine a world without vanilla. no blondies. no pound cakes. no crème brûlée, no coke floats. no cream soda. no satiny new york-style cheesecakes. no warm apple pie à la mode. no velvety complexity to bring out complex notes in chocolate desserts. no depth of flavour in your cakes and cookies and milkshakes. all in just a few precious seeds or grams of paste or perfumed teaspoons of liquid black platinum. what you don’t understand could fill the library of alexandria seven times over and then some. you ungrateful bastard i’m going to kill you

the best thing about the moon and the sky and the stars is that while you can't ever take a picture of them that does them justice......you don't need to. they're gonna be there tomorrow

this sounds sad as shit but like as working girls go… having a day off to do nothing feels euphoric. In reality I don’t even work 5 days a week, my schedule is always split up into random weekend and weekdays but I’ll be working 3-4 days a week, two of which is always the weekend and I’ll go home on the night before my day off and wake up feeling like the world is such a beautiful and lovable place. I don’t even hate my job, but just the mere idea of waking up and working for 8 hours EVERYDAY kills someone physically and mentally. I don’t even often wake up early to begin with, but I’ll wake up at like 9:00AM on my day off and I’ll have iced coffee and a ham sandwich and I’ll cry over how much love is in the world. that’s how good it feels for me to be at home and doing jack shit. It’s like that time the staff asked jinho what he likes to do on his day off and he’s like “I like to play games until late, order take out and watch netflix” and he started tearing up talking about it because he was that happy over the THOUGHT. he’s like “hold awn… I’m about to sob” that’s literally me having like one day off. no drug can induce a high as strong as not working.

it’s okay. it’s okay if you wandered off the path for a while. it’s ok if you haven’t started. you can find your way back. you can still catch up. you can still do amazingly. I believe in you.
