YYZ Ramp Tour with LSG Sky Chefs Toronto āļø
Todayās ramp tour brought me face-to-face with an old friend: the Emirates A380, an aircraft that carries so many memories for me. Seeing it up close stirred up a blend of nostalgia and pride. As I walked around it, memories of countless flights, dedicated teams, and shared laughs all came rushing back. It reminded me of the days when I was part of something so much bigger, making sure every detail was perfect for each passenger stepping onboard.
Thereās something powerful about standing near this giant, knowing I played a role in its journeys across the world. It felt like reconnecting with a piece of my past, a reminder of the work and passion that goes into every takeoff and landing. Today, Iām wearing a different uniform, representing a new role and a new journey. But my heart will always carry a piece of that Emirates spirit. āļø

Chat with Gurpreet ā The most Senior CSR at LSG Sky Chefs
Today, I had the pleasure of speaking with Gurpreet, the most senior Customer Services Ramp employee at LSG Sky Chefs. With 30 years of experience, Gurpreet has worked in nearly every department of the company. However, out of all the roles she has undertaken, her favorite is the CSR role.
Gurpreet expressed her passion for the dynamic nature of the CSR position, where she interacts closely with the operational side of service delivery. Her long-standing commitment to the company and her enjoyment of the CSR role highlight its importance in the overall success of LSG Sky Chefs.
At LSG Sky Chefs, the Customer Services Ramp ensures the smooth coordination of ramp operations related to in-flight services. CSRs act as the link between flight crews and catering logistics, overseeing the loading and timely delivery of food and supplies to aircraft. They ensure that all items are properly prepared and delivered according to schedule, working closely with various teams to maintain operational excellence. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to the fast-paced, time-sensitive environment of airport operations.
