in an old, hole-in-the-wall japanese restaurant sits two guys. they're tucked away from the world and entangled with one another, leaned in so close it's as if there's a magnet pulling them in.

doe eyes sparkle beneath the warm, dim lighting of the restaurant. he pushes a stray curl behind his ear and calls out an affectionate, "atsu, no!" when the other attempts to dip his chopsticks into his bowl. they play like this for a while; fending off wandering hands and utensils while simultaneously pushing their steaming bowls closer for easier access.

love blooms in the air as he pulls at his hand, intertwining their fingers, comparing hand sizes, proding at the constellation of moles that litter soft skin. "kiyo, you've got to give me hand cream recommendations. yours are so smooth.." the blonde drawls. this earns him a fond smile and a quiet sigh.

"stop fondling my hands and eat your food, weirdo."

and he does. they both fall silent as they slurp and chew in their hidden corner.

once bowls are empty and bellies are full, the blonde taps their feet together underneath the table. "love you, omi."

another tap, some shuffling, and soon comes a quiet, shy, "i love you too, tsumu."

miya osamu's love is constant and quiet. there's too much of it clogging his throat and he struggles to get the simplest of compliments out. it's clunky and doesn't come out right most of the time. but its love, nonetheless.

its love in the way that he slices mangoes and peals oranges for you to snack on. its love in the way that the sun spills from his lips when he smiles at you. its love in the way that it's all-consuming and surrounding the both of you in its warm embrace. its love in the way that he tells you awful jokes to lift your mood, even if it's at the cost of his embarrassment. osamu would put everything on the back burner for you, and no, you wouldn't even have to ask him to. he'd do it simply because he loves you.
