That old District Attorney still has his heart and fills it with warmth and sorrow in equal measure, their influence on him rooted deep and blooming year after year. ~~~ So, another anniversary for WKM and another third of three birthdays for our dear former mayor, Dark.
This originally started out as just the heart, and then I had an idea for a larger piece, and - me being me (that is, a damned perfectionist) - I didn't want to resize the heart, because it would have crunched the quality. So... I made the canvas way bigger and. I am never doing that again. So, here's what it started as, because I am quite proud of how it came out. (Though it originally didn't have the honeysuckles. Those got added later.)
