the phrase 'do not comply in advance' has been thrown around a lot lately (for reasons we won't be going into here), and the phrase has stuck in this thing's head, alongside a few other thoughts with regard to being submissive and how one goes about acquiring play partners.

and to subby types, this thing thinks do not comply in advance is good advice. don't submit to dominants simply because they're dominant. make them earn your submission. make them value it. because if they can just take it without offering you any kind of reward, then what value are you giving it yourself? to that we say: no submission without reward.
