Sorry for being gone so long my loves. I am in the hospital and I am scheduled for surgery around 1 pm today. Hopefully I feel better soon. You guys are amazing!! Keep being yourselves!

Can I get some advice? I'm worried that, over the summer, my friends from school will forget about me because none of them ever invite me to do anything. What should i do? Can I do anything about it, or do I just let it happen?

Alright my dear, I understand that particular fear very well. There is almost nothing you can do about it except for to hope that they will invite you to things. If anything, start a conversation with them and ask them to hang out with you sometime but let them decide. Show them how cool you can be. Oh, and ALWAYS let them know that you would love to hang out with them again sometime soon. If they are real friends they would talk to you and invite you to things. Not much else can be said towards this if they don’t respond except that they were never your true friends. Yes, I promise it will hurt like hell. I guarantee it will never be easy to let go of people you thought were your friends. But maybe someday they will return and treat you as a real friend. Sometimes it takes a little while for them to realize that they weren’t treating you correctly. All I have left to say is to be patient my child and all will soon become clear. xoxo Nalika

As I sit here in bed alone at night I try and wonder why I fight Millions of thoughts cross my mind but never the solace I try to find As the tears stream down my once beautiful face I'm reminded how much I'm a disgrace I scream and I cry and I beg "no more please" but everything always brings me to my knees When all you ask is to never be alone all you see are old rotted bone The bones of the lost and as well as the cost "I'm okay" I lie as secretly "save me" I cry I won't leave they say but when it comes down to it they're gone by the new day Just stay I cry but away they fly Alone... all alone... shivering... shaking... then finally it stops... the pain fades away... and then the bones make sense... they are the ones who gave up... I will not be another set of bones I decide as i dry all the tears have cried My legs may be weak but I dry my cheek I stand broken and shaken but tall and awaken It's my life I chose and I chose not to lose.

Prologue

Akalani laughed as she picked up the gurgling baby and grabbed the hand of her four year old.  “Mommy, when did you meet my Papa?” Liliana asked as she jumped into a puddle on the side walk. “Well, Papa and I actually met because I bumped into him and we have been together ever since.” Akalani smiled fondly on her daughter and held Oliver on her hip. “When is Papa coming home?” Liliana asked as she turned to look at Akalani.  “Soon, very soon.” Akalani recalled the very instant she met the man, or creature who had sired her children. 

She could feel his eyes wander over her body as she stood on the porch with the cup in her hand. She looked up to see if he was watching her and discovered that he had disappeared. Starting to wonder, she turned quickly and poured her drink all down his front.
