I did not participate in the Conspire Secret Santa because I wasn't sure if I have enough time to come up with something. On the other hand, I also really wanted to keep up my tradition of posting something on Malik's birthday, so I decided to combine his birthday pic with the xmas pic this year. Commission requested by @avadras - Burning Godzilla defeats King Ghidorah

I truly felt the sheer power of Burning Godzilla while working on this piece. My own eyes burned, in the same way they would when you stare into the heart of raging fire for too long. Really wanted to do him justice and portray Godzilla as both terrifying and magnificent. Recreating the iconic climactic scene at the end of the Godzilla 2019 film.

Heavily inspired by kaiju comic artist Matt Frank’s KaijuSamurai winged Burning Godzilla illustration:  www.deviantart.com/kaijusamura…  and Spiral Studio’s collectable light-up figure based on the same artwork. www.spiraltoy.com/ This recreation in my own style was requested by the client.
