I hold the headcanon that Nendo is well aware of Saiki's powers and just sees it as a fact of life and not really worth mentioning. Like "yeah my best friend lit a thermometer on fire, levitates things, and shoots lasers. that's just how he is dw"

I also headcanon that he's at least somewhat smarter than he is portrayed and there's another reason that Saiki can't read his mind (but goodness knows what that is)

In volume 0 he actually allowed Saiki to read his mind. Deliberately? Not sure. Is that how he figured out? Probably. But maybe Nendo came to the conclusion that he telepathically spoke to Takahashi about the whole wallet situation

He did correctly solve a math problem in a bit of the manga that went unused in the anime sooooo....

Unrelated to this but if I ever draw Nendo I'm drawing him with permanent dot eyes. You can't stop me.

SAIKI K OCS!!!: Hairo is PARENTLESS NO MORE!!! I don't know if his parents are ever mentioned in the anime or manga but that doesn't matter because I MADE SOME!!!!

Here they are: Ryo and Blaize Hairo!!!

Ik my style doesn't look like the anime (and also necessitates putting their wedding rings on their middle finger rather than their ring finger which they lack completely) but just pretend T~T

Ryo was born and raised in Japan.

He's a Pisces, and his blood type is A- (not that he believes in the relevance of either of those things).

He's caring, respectful, and diligent. He's also incredibly intelligent, in both academic skills and logic, which is a skill of his that ended up with Kineshi. Another trait that ended up with his son is his pyrokinetic abilities, which he mostly avoids using but is willing to use for good when necessary. He is also incredibly dedicated to the well-being of his wife and only child, though that sometimes translates to being overly strict, especially with the latter.

However, he's also rather paranoid and overall anxious, which tends to lead to him blowing things out of proportion. He has rather low self-esteem as well, lowered by his assortment of fears and phobias which he knows to be irrational. He gets a lot of his anxiety from his use of resources such as money and time, leading him to come off as stingy and self-centered.

To an outsider, he might seem quiet, rational, and a bit of a stick in the mud.

Blaize was born in the United States and lived there for eight years before her family moved to Japan. She is the one responsible for teaching Kineshi English.

She is an Aries with a blood type of AB+.

She's optimistic, enthusiastic, and courageous, and she believes that no task is too difficult for her. Her positivity is infectious, and she can cheer anybody up. She is also incredibly generous, and is willing to drop everything to help a stranger. She is also incredibly strong, agile, and generally athletic, which is a skill she uses both for the fun of sports and to assist others.

On the other hand, she's overzealous and lacks foresight. Much of what she does is done without consideration of consequences, though Ryo does help to even that out. Her generosity also makes her irresponsible with her time and money, which gets on Ryo's nerves to no end. She also lacks in self-control, especially when it comes to the volume of her voice, which is always at least a little bit too loud. Also, unlike what is thought of those with her blood type, she is horrible at planning ahead.

Kineshi received the red hair of his father and the red stripes of his mother's hair (though it's hard to see since his hair was already red). He also received the spikes on the end of his father's eyebrows and the general bushiness of his mother's eyebrows. His eyes are a mix of his mother's red ones and his father's yellow ones. (Turns out, the altered hair and eye colors that came from Saiki's mind control are somewhat consistent with preexisting genetics.)

He also has a locket that matches with his parents', which has a photo of the three of them from when Kineshi was young.

Between the three of them, Kineshi is the most balanced and rational.

Also, Kineshi doesn't see them very often due to their conflicting schedules; they are still asleep by the time he gets to school, and they aren't home yet by the time he goes to sleep. However, they like to spend quality time together when the three of them are off of either school or work.

Today I learned that the original class rep in Saiki K was a girl who was in the judo club ....... and that she and Nendo would have had children later in life.........

I am now considering the concept that this girl is Hairo in (pre-transition) and they dated but broke up at some point and Hairo transitioned over a break (and realized that he didn't feel attracted to Nendo anyway, aroace Hairo 4 life) and now Nendo (and literally everybody else, Saiki included) is completely unaware of the whereabouts of his ex

I also like to think that Saiki was accidentally the catalyst for Hairo's self-discovery, since he seems to be the main person to make his premonitions false

Posting without tags because this headcanon/concept is a little dumb but whatevs. Would make an interesting fanfic plot if I actually wanted to put the effort in

KUSUO SAIKI HAS BEEN DECAPITATED !!!!!

This is his design in my Mob Psycho + Saiki K crossover... I took a stab at replicating mp100's style but I think my colors are off and maybe the head is too big,,

Also if you could tell I replaced all green details with black to match the uniform and replaced all metallic details with rose gold because I heard that mixing metals is a fashion faux pas... he doesn't get in trouble for it cuz of mind control lmao

I sincerely headcanon hairo as aroace but the same time there's a fanfic that makes me go crazy for hairo x nendo so .... maybe he's not aroace in that universe idk
