What if Yin and Yang were meant to be two entirely different characters???

I don't have proof for this so it's more of a headcanon than a theory but what if Yin was supposed to be Yin-Yang and Yang was supposed to be something else entirely ???

I mean, I'm just making crap up, but I do have a sort of motivation.

Yin seems to be, because of his nature, a decent enough vessel of peace and general goodness. It's shown that he's honest and against deception, and he seems to care at least a bit about health.

I bring that up because balance needs peace and goodness in order to exist. Yin is peaceful and good for all of the reasons above, of course, but there must be something to be on the other side of the coin. That is the show itself, which is an evidently toxic environment for everyone involved. I don't really think I need to list the reasons the show has harmed the characters and their relationships. That was kind of, to a degree, the point of the series.

Maybe, then, the point of Yin-Yang was to create balance within the cast as a whole.

Also, Yin, the white one (which there is a purpose to clarifying), is male-adjacent. Yang, the white one in the actual meaning of the symbol, represents masculinity. Yang the character is also male, but Yin the idea represents (and also doesn't align much with Yang the character). Maybe Yang is trans but if not then I had a point

Maybe the truth of the matter is that they are the code for two different characters accidentally placed into one file, while the specific parts of the code that would account for the appearance of the character that Yang was supposed to be are still in their original file, simply ending up being a sort of husk of a contestant, devoid of any real personality and running on a bland set of preset code. Idk
