Self discipline is so important. Fuck will power and fuck motivation. If you set a goal 5 years, a year or 6 months ago, even last January and you’re still struggling with attaining it, motivation and will power are out the window. You need to plan out the specific ass steps to get your goal, and do them whether you feel like it or not. And if you still don’t do it, just throw the whole goal away. You don’t want it enough. Not more than you want comfort and pleasures and favorite foods and sleep and whatever is keeping you from attaining it. Imagine the rest of your life without you reaching that goal, and accept it. Start again when you’re sick and tired of coddling yourself.
