slytherins: *expected to fight in the battle anyways and treated like fucking terrorists when they choose not to for fear that they'll be fighting their parents, friends, and family*

slytherins: *automatically taken to mean death eater*

slytherins: *always pitted against the rest of the school and portrayed as terrible people even though they face discrimination and harassment*

Please please help me find this POTO fic!

I have been looking for this fic for WEEKS and I officially turn to you. I read it years ago and I remember it being SO GOOD and I really, really want to re-read it but I swear it has fallen off the face of the earth. I don't remeber the title, the main character's name, and I only remeber bits and pieces of the story line and I'm not 100% sure that everything I remeber is from the same story BUT here's what I have: -Phantom of the Opera fic, set in the Leroux/possibly Kay universe (so full face disfigurement, Erik is crazy for real, siren in the lake, etc) -Main character is a ballerina at the Garnier and she's mute or possibly just pretending to be mute (I believe it's the latter) -At some point, one of the bitchy ballerina girls (and they're all super bitchy I think) falls down the stairs through a 'mysterious happening' and hurts or breaks her ankle/foot/leg. -The Persian/Nadir is a pretty frequent character -Erik talks a lot about the 'siren' in the lake and I think at one point the main character falls into the lake and he may or may not almost drown her. -It is a romance (Erik/OC don't be hatin' okay) but not very overtly so. No sappiness, no OH I LOVE YOU MY LOVELy LOVE kinda shit. -I am 100% sure it was originally on FF.net -Erik bones the main character (but I don't recall there being a 'scene') and the next morning Nadir comes bothering Erik and Erik says something to the effect of 'I've left her alone inside' and Nadir thinking or saying 'left her alone indeed!' In response (why do I remember this specifically???) -(I may have this mixed up with Kay or else it's totally original to this fic) There's a 'monster' side of Erik who he internally argues with a lot. I know it's not a lot to go on but I'm CRAVING this fic and I won't be satisfied again until I find it if it even still exists. Any help would be SO appreciated!
