I very badly need to get this out of my brain before the idwtbamg pilot drops so it's horribly rushed, i'm so sorry Eclipse I'll draw you properly later I promise :')

Anyways, AU's right? Feasibly, being in frequent contact with the powers of The Darkness herself simply cannot be good for the human body right?

And if we're being honest here Eclipse from the little I've seen seems like the type to immediately push the bounds of his new abilities without a second thought, excitement cancelling out any concern or caution.

Wielding The Dark is far different to simply being around it, it's taxing on the body, it feeds and festers under the skin, under the flesh and bone and within your very being. It writhes and burns, seeping into you and clawing its way up your throat as your body tries to reject it. Something so foreign, so vile, it couldn't possibly belong to you. It hurts. It's buring and it's freezing and it feels so very wrong. And yet, you put it there. And you will continue to allow it because you have a job to do.

You chose this, you wanted this.

You're mostly sure that it's confined to the wand, if you are patient the sensation will pass. As long as you're careful, it can't get that bad...

Right?
