Hiatus - END

Hey, KS fans!!

I had a wonderful and productive hiatus – you’ll see my hard work in these next coming weeks. The next update I have scheduled for next Monday, the seventh.

However, if you are a patron on my wonderful Patreon page (https://www.patreon.com/mykaspyke)… then you have already seen activity. I posted a monthly exclusive image for my $5 patrons and I also posted a sneak peek at this upcoming update.

Even though it doesn’t have a lot of activity yet, I post there as much as I can. Please consider becoming a patron for this exclusive content – because there’s more coming!

So, besides shamelessly advertising myself, I also just want to thank you all for your patience. I really do appreciate everything you all do for me, even if it’s just reading my stuff.

Hey, KS fans,

There’s no way to beat around the bush with this – I need a break. I’ve been fighting a nasty cold that I can’t shake, I’ve noticed that my mental health is not what it should be, and I haven’t been meeting the deadlines to get you the content that you and I both want.

The biggest thing is the deadlines, honestly. My mental health is hovering at a consistent level that I can manage, but it could be better some days – and this cold REALLY just needs to go away. I know it will, but it just sucks right now. But what sucks more is me not meeting my deadlines and I’m posting this because I just think that there should be transparency between us. I’m really not happy with where I am, especially the amount and the consistency that I’m pumping out comics. On top of trying to finish a KS comic weekly, I am trying to get another project off the ground, I have a day job, and a lot of outside factors that really shouldn’t be an issue but they just are.

The bottom line is that I need to put my nose to the grindstone for a little bit.

So, I’m finished with the last comic for March. Death’s gonna go do his reaping thing and we’ll see how Amelia takes it. The tension is building how I want it to and I hope that you feel it (feel the tension) and I’ll be back in May.

My patrons won’t get billed for April and I’m just going to take the four weeks to work on the comic.

May will be better, I know it will.
